v8.10 is often unresponsive
As much as I love 8.10, it has a very reproducible problem. 8-10 time a day it will just stop after tapping any one is the menu categorizes. No defined action causes this, it just happens. Screenshot attached.

My pleasure. Perfection is an iterative process, and along the way, "stuff happens" 🙂

I was out this evening on an errand and experienced this on my phone. I instantly thought, oh no, I spoke too soon. 😆 It came and went just like you described. Thanks for the diligent reporting.

No...I have not noticed any other particulars, other than frequency of occurrence seems to be about one out of every 4-5 times. It's not consistent.

Thanks, ag_tommy! It's not a big deal...and I'm sure an eventual update will fix it.

I've not seen this on the phone. Have you noticed anything else detail wise? Interestingly, I was able to reproduce the results on a 11" iPad but not a mini. We've got that one filed. It's very possible the root cause is the same.

We believe we've got reproducible steps for this behavior. One of my colleagues found those steps and once I followed those I could reproduce the spinner on my iPad.

Same thing works for me to clear it, or a quick restart of the app.

I am also seeing this, but only on my iPad, not my iPhone. The spinner never seems to stop, but clicking amongst various categories will sometimes clear it up.

Boy, autocorrect butchered that post…should have proofed it. Should be as follows.
