    Lock leaves the app secured and ready to use. Quit would completely quit the app and stop things like browser integration unlocking, biometrics and background syncing. I would recommend using lock.

    Thanks, but II don't see the purpose of Lock. Why not just Quit 1Password instead? Doesn't it amount to the same thing?

    Hi 13Jimpal,

    Locking 1Password will put the app in a state that requires you to sign in with your account password again.
