When is 1Password Mini used vs an extension in a browser?

I was going through the 1P settings and noticed Mini. When is 1P mini used vs a browser extension? Should I enable both? Is there ever a time when one is used as opposed to the other? Should I disable Mini and just use an extension? Thanks.

    Is 1Password "mini' the icon on the top menu?

    Thank you for the reply. The browser extension doesn't work on every site. I Created a keyboard shortcut to call up 1P.

    Hi @jgearimn7!

    Most of the time, you should use the extension. 1Password mini has been removed in this form from 1Password 8, so using the extension as your main tool is the recommended approach :+1:
