When showing and hiding password it gets deleted once I start typing again

When entering the master password in the iOS App (8.9.7) I type a few letters, then click on the eye to show the password and again to hide it. Once I start typing again, everything that was already entered gets deleted and I need to type the whole password again.

I made a video but I can not upload it here.

    Quick update from the development team: It turns out that this is expected behaviour for password boxes like this on iOS, and I'm told that other apps on iOS exhibit this same behaviour. Thanks for your feedback about this. It will remain on file for future reference. :)

    Thanks for reporting this. I've asked for some input from our development team to see if that's something we would expect 1Password to do or not. If it's something controlled by iOS, for example, there may be limited ways we can change its behaviour. I'll post here again with any updates.
