Why can't I install the 1Password extension in Safari?

When I try to install the extension in Safari, I get the following message: "That application didn't work. The selected application was signed in an unsupported way or may be missing a required ident...

The browser/OS you are using is likely not supported or fails to meet the minimum requirements. You might be able to use a different browser and install 1Password there. I'd start by checking for updates to your OS/browser as my first step and installing any found.
