Your saved data appears to be newer than this version of 1Password can use.

Nighty update user here. Unable to load into 1Password Desktop client.

Attempted to:

  1. https://support.1password.com/uninstall-1password/?mac#remove-the-1password-app-and-data.
    1. grep -r '1password' /Users/$(whoami)
    2. Mostly *.history journal logs of usage and exporting socket
  2. Restart
  3. Install a https://1password.com/downloads/mac

Unable to resolve the issue

Context:

  1. I have Chrome 1Password

    Hello amongstar​! 👋

    I'm sorry that you're unable to open the 1Password app on your Mac and I'm sorry for the late reply. There was an issue back in May where a nightly update included an older database schema than the previous nightly version which may have led users to seeing this error message. Since then, we've pushed an update to resolve the issue via the nightly channel. 

    If you're still seeing the error then let me know.

    Same problem occurred while using a nightly beta.  Had to remove 1Password folders stored in group containers.  I reinstallerd the production version instead of the nightly.

     ~/Library/Group Containers/2BUA95CS5V.com.1password/

    ~/Library/Group Containers/2BUA95CS5V.com.agilebits/
