I rebooted my PC the other day and since then I noticed the issue has resolved at least for now.
I just checked and Hardware Acceleration was enabled, so I've turned that off for now. If the black box starts to happen again then I'll follow the above instructions and report back. - 1P_Dave

I'm sorry that you're running into a blank window when unlocking 1Password in Microsoft Edge. It sounds like you might be running into a known issue that our development team is currently working on. Can you try the following to see if it improves the situation:
- Open and unlock the 1Password 8 desktop app.
- In the top left, click ⋮ > Settings > Advanced.
- Uncheck the option to Use Hardware Acceleration.
- Fully quit and restart the app with Ctrl + Q or by right clicking the icon in the system tray > Quit.
- Relaunch 1Password and test whether you can still reproduce the black window.
