Hello 1Password Team - Could you please add the ability to specify a custom prefix when creating a masked email address in Fastmail? Their API supports it. I like to use prefixes on my aliases since it helps group the type of sender or service (financial, shopping, apps, etc.) to have rules that can label, archive, forward, etc. and would love to specify a prefix during masked email creation. This could alleviate the alternative of using catch all aliases. It would also be a big time saver if you could add creating the masked email addresses to the iOS app. Thank you!Solved38Views0likes3CommentsAfter Updating to 1Password for Safari 8.12.4 autofill for many sites no longer works
Including 1Password Communities! This seems like a major faux-pas (everything was working fine before the update). Autofill still works on some sites. macSO 26.3 with Safari 26.3. 1Password 8.12.5, 1Password for Safari 8.12.4.Solved539Views10likes47CommentsInvalid pop-up asking for a passkey
I'm on macOS 26 using the Safari web browser. Every time I go to chase.com, (and a few other web sites) 1Password presents the following pop-up. As far as I can tell, searching through chase.com's security settings, they do not yet support passkeys. My 1Password entry for chase.com does not give me the banner that chase.com supports passkeys, offering for me to use passkeys. How do I get 1Password to stop presenting this dialogue for websites that do not support passkeys?87Views0likes5CommentsFix for Safari Mac: Autofill popup not clicking/working
Hey everyone, just wanted to chime in. I ran into a very similar issue on Safari for Mac and found a quick workaround that might help. It looks like Safari is getting confused with the extension's website permissions. Here's how to force Safari to reset it: Go to Safari > Settings > Websites. Scroll down to 1Password for Safari on the left panel. At the bottom right ("For other websites"), change it from Allow to Ask. (Tip: I also removed all the sites currently listed in that box just to start fresh). Go back to the login page that wasn't working and hit refresh. Safari will prompt you for permission under the address bar. Just click Always Allow. After doing this, the 1Password autofill popup became clickable again for me. Hope this helps some of you out while we wait for a real fix!77Views3likes3CommentsAutofill doesn't play well with apparent PG&E website change
The https://myaccount.pge.com/myaccount/s/login/?language=en_US (Pacific Gas and Electric) seems to have updated in a way that prevents the browser extension's autofill from working. Instead of logging me in, it instead pops briefly to PG&E's OTP request page, then bounces back to the login page. (Click Sign in another way to see what the OTP page looks like statically.) Worse yet, the redirect URL in the address bar gets annotated with my username and password in plain text! 😱 I've since changed my password in an abundance of caution. https://myaccount.pge.com/myaccount/s/login/?language=en_US&username=*****%40***.***&password=************Solved31Views0likes1CommentSecurity issue or 'feature': Browser extension auto login into management console
Hi there, I found out that when you use the browser extensions of 1PW and go into settings > Integrations > Manage Integrations > manage it does automatically login into your web vaults management interface (without any additional password and without entering any credentials (even when all browser cookies where delete before). At this point the extension must send the encryption key to the JS that was supplied by the server. (isn't this an RCE vulnerability on client side?). And overall this is kind of a big security issue in my point of view because you directly get access to every management part of your whole account (even the other members section and so on). Why not closing this big hole and make it as an option or put some password prompt there?53Views0likes4Comments1Password for Safari 8.12.6 picks wrong default entry to autofill
My public domain is xxxxx.org.uk. In 1Password I have many entries for various self-hosted things all of the form: YYY.home.xxxxx.org.uk where YYY differs for each item. Since updating to the 8.12.6 TestFlight version of the Safari Extension (to avoid the issue where autofill does not work at all on many sites) I now find that If I am trying to log in to web page at, say: aaa.home.xxxxx.org.uk for which I have a dedicated 1Password entry then the extension offers as a default the entry for qqq.home.xxxxx.org.uk and I have to open the drop down list and manually select the correct entry. This was never an issue previously.27Views0likes3Comments1Password stopped filling my credit card information
Fairly recently, my 1Password stopped letting me fill credit card information directly from the Safari extension. All the credit card information shows up, as if to be chosen, but the popup window ignores my click. In most cases I can open the small window and click Autofill, but sometimes opening the small window causes the browser window to close. Then I have to manually copy each section. I'm using 1Password for Mac 8.12.5 and browser extension version 8.12.4.46. This started about the time the 8.12 upgrade was installed (or maybe an earlier one). How can I get this to fill in my browser?16Views0likes0CommentsUpdating and using 1Password
I am having some issues where I will click in the password blank on a website, and in the past 1Password has done a great job of filling in the user ID and the password. But now if I click in either the user ID or the password 1Password is not entering the data --I can go into 1Password and copy the user ID and copy the password and import those but that's a big change from what it used to be. So I thought it was a problem that I needed to upgrade or improve my 1Password. So I tried to do that on my Mac running 24.3 and there was no way that I could see to upgrade 1password. so I deleted 1Password and I went into the Mac App Store and downloaded it but it says 1Password 7 and I don't think seven is the latest. And it doesn't look anything like my old 1Password app. It does work, but it does have the same old problem that I had before. So I've been trying to find out how to upgrade my 1Password to the latest because I have a paid account and I can't find any way of doing that either. And the browser extension isn't quite working either, but that may be because I still have 1Password 7 and I'm not sure if that's the one that works best anyway.20Views0likes0CommentsPassword generator "Copy" button not working in Firefox
Hello, I'm having an issue where the "Copy" button in the Password generator (the one that pops up from the form's password field) is not working in Firefox. I checked Chrome and it's working fine there. For reference: Firefox: 135.0.1 1Password extension: 8.10.62.27 (STABLE channel) ThanksSolved147Views0likes6Comments
