enable auto-fill for localhost (local IP network device) websites
hi there, up until recently, maybe 3-5 days ago, 1password has worked flawlessly when trying to autofill for my localhost sites. i self host a bunch for different services: NAS login webpage is localhost (i.e. 192.168.X.X) my docker management sites are similar my homebridge docker site, similar, etc. you get the picture. neither the autofill option from the browser extension, nor the autofill when you cmd-shift-space work on any of these pages anymore. i've already tried to "reset hidden pages", even though i for sure never manually hid those pages. is there a way to get this working again? 1pw-extension version: 8.11.22.25 1pw-macos version: 8.11.20 browser: chrome-based (arc browser, dia browser)Multiple Business Accounts Logged in (one) 1Password.app
We have a small support team, including a primary admin who needs 100% access to the supported 1Password business accounts. Many devices (iPhones, Macs, iPads, Androids) are work/personal blended with applied business/personal separation. In our case, our team uses 1Password for Business for support, but also logs into personal accounts with the same 1Password app on the same devices. When navigating Business support, the autofill/access displays user/passwords for ALL Business accounts logged into 1Password.app. Is there a streamlined way to dedicate specific access when on the Business side versus the personal side? When logging into Netflix (personally), I don't want to have to scroll through a list of client logins to find mine. We have tried using "Collections" with limited success, if any.
Bug? Browser extension not unlocking or filling in password
My 1Password browser extension often refuses to unlock and fill in passwords. Even when I click 'Open 1Password' on the menu bar icon it won't open the app. I already tried reinstalling my browser extension, but no success. Sometimes the extension will work, but the issue is unpredictable and doesn't seem to be tied to specific sites. How do I transition from 1:1 mapping of authentication and authorization to simpler options?
I have never taken the following suggestion for fear of not knowing what would happen next. I don't know what would happen next, because I have multiple Microsoft accounts and access multiple SharePoints: In a nutshell - How is this functionality supposed to work and what problem does it solve? More specific concerns are below with additional questions which may be more helpful to any of you potentially answering this question. Thanks in advance! Usually, a Microsoft account is going to 1:1 with SharePoint sites, and there are never SharePoint sites which would require access by more than one of my Microsoft accounts. Sometimes a Microsoft account is going to map 1:many where 1 Microsoft account maps to more than one SharePoint Seldom 2 Microsoft accounts might need access to the same SharePoint. For Example, I am an employee of Consult-o-rama, and the account referred to is Microsoft here in the dialog above is a login called Consult-o-Rama in my Consult-o-Rama vault dedicated to all things Consult-o-Rama. Further, the SharePoint referred to here, is a SharePoint of a company which was a joint venture 30 years ago and with whom we have a close relationship. They have their own AD, but Microsoft federation is such that we are allowed to log into their sites separately using our same login as guests. Likewise, we can switch orgs in Teams and use their separate teams with the same credentials, as guests. My Consult-o-Rama login credential, which is a Microsoft account, is stored in 1password as a Login with URLs for all the sites I would use it for in the Consult-o-Rama vault. I also have a client vault which we can call Client 1. Client 1 has dedicated logins for only Client 1. But in my Consult-o-Rama vault, my Consult-o-Rama credential will have sites of both Consult-o-Rama resources, and only the SharePoint URL for the Client 1. With me so far? Other background: I have 4-7 vaults depending on how many clients I have. consult-o-rama, client 1, Client 2, Personal, and then Client <#> for however many clients I need to have them for, I sometimes have vaults for additional purposes. I use separate browser identities and have the 1password addon in the browser filtering only on the relevant vaults per browser identity (so in the Client 1 Edge profile, I have it filtering only for Consult-o-Rama and Client #1) The login credential record "Consult-o-Rama' is one of 5-10 microsoft account. I log into at least that many SharePoints. Some of the microsoft accounts are all in Consult-o-Rama. Client #2 and others will have other Microsoft Accounts. None of my login credential records are named Microsoft or SharePoint. How can I best use the functionality I'm being prompted to use without doing the following? Creating duplicate records of login credentials. Being clear about mapping identities and being able to label "Microsoft" in this example instead as "Consult o Rama', and "SharePoint" instead as "consult-o-rama" SharePoint. So that in the future I can map 1 to many and many to 1 logically and without confusion? And if none of that is clear - How is this functionality actually supposed to work? Thanks!
1password input focus lag with lots of inputs
I'm running into an issue where 1password seems to significantly slow down interaction with the webpage I'm working on. There's a ton of input fields of which most are hidden, I cannot lower the amount of inputs, in fact I have to increase the amount of inputs due to how the system works. Every time I click on an input, the focus is delayed by ~200ms or so. The next time I select the same input field it's instant. 1password seems to do something that slows down the focus event. I made a performance recording in firefox. I selected 3 inputs and after the 3rd on selected the same 3 in the same order with no slowdown. I've tried adding data-1p-ignore and autocomplete="off" but it didn't solve anything.
[BUG] Beta and Nightly extension degrade page's original functionallity
I was looking https://shiki.style/guide/install , an NPM package which provides syntax highlighting and showing detail hovering on keywords. It is expected to be shown and work like this but is actually shown like this when using a beta or nightly browser extension. There's no issue on normal one. Hi All. I appreciate the forum people's willingness to help. New windows 11 home pc. Beginner user of 1P and win 11, though pretty conversant with pc and previous versions of windows. Setting up 1P items from old desktop shortcuts to gradually get more secure. Any suggestions would be appreciated! I ran into some conflicts with edge://settings/autofill/passwords putting old user/password credentials into login boxes when I didn't want them. I think I have that all turned off now, and have definitely deleted the user/pw info in that directory for the particular item I am trying to figure out. What happens is when I open and fill the url for this 1P item, it fills in a password but not username. The website then asks for my email, which if I type it in and accept, I get logged in properly. But why is the username not filled in? It is in the 1P item. It is getting that password from somewhere but I don't think the 1P program. Hey, I am trying to fix the autofill background on a web app that has dark mode. Right now the 1Password extension applies light autofill background which creates unreadable contrast (1st screenshot). It's because input gets `data-com-onepassword-filled="light"` attribute with light variant. Is it possible to tell the 1PW that the page is using dark mode or what's the solution to let the 1PW set `data-com-onepassword-filled` to `'dark'`? I have set the color-scheme CSS property to `dark`. Edit: I managed to debug this issue and found out there's a bug in the theme detection by 1PW extension itself that's done via `data-com-onepassword-filled="light|dark"`. Passwords priority to fill
Hi I am developer, I am using multiple accounts for 1 site to test using browser extension...is there anywhere settings, which username should be prioritised (I am using it 90% of time) ? This would be very handy for me, because autofill is nice, but when I have to always select the right one... Thanks!
