Ever since the last 1Password update for Windows (8.11.18), 1Password now opens when starting Windows and asks for the password to unlock. It is explicitely set not to do that, by having the corresponding checkmark in settings (General > Open 1Password on startup) unset, but this setting seems to be ignored now. It was working correctly before the last 1Password update. There is nothing set up in Windows itself to open 1Password. Using Windows 10 Pro 22H2 (19045.6575), fully up to date.146Views2likes9CommentsUnable to change calendar/date format to EU
Hello. I am a Family Organizer trying to enter all our family's passport details. We are all European, but all CALENDAR/DATE fields in 1Password only accept and automatically display American date format (MM/DD/YYYY)? I don't see any option in my Admin console to change my country/language settings which may change the CALENDAR DATES in 1Password to European format (DD/MM/YYYY), am I missing something? Thanks.19Views0likes4CommentsAuto-type doesn't switch fields
Hey, im currently facing the issue, that when I try to use auto-type via Ctrl+Shift+Space in other applications that 1Password is writing everything in one line instead of switching from Username to the password field. So it looks something like this: username: uname1234 password1234 password: instead of: username: uname1234 password: password1234 except for the "spaces" i added in this example its and tab stop. But it seems like that it won't change lines. Is there a setting that im missing? Im currently switching from KP2 to 1Password and I had no issues with the auto-type feature over there in terms of wrong tab stops. Also it would be nice if there is a way to configure stuff like write password only and adding adding the feature to access favorites directly in the quick access menu via Ctrl+Shift+Space Thanks in advance!8Views0likes1CommentBrave Plugin asking for Authentication
Is anyone else having the strange issue where when using Brave on Windows 11 and the 1password plugin? If 1password is locked, unlocking creates a popup saying Authentication Required, and a new browser tab opens prompting for email, secret key and password. These can all be ignored and I am signed in by just entering the password in the normal unlock popup screen. This only started a few days back.Solved30Views0likes5CommentsAllow configuration of Quick Access Hotkeys and auto pasting
Hi 1password Team, After launching Quick Access, it's cumbersome to have to enter another three key combination for the e-mail, password etc. If the login page isn't recognised due to missing HTML elements (I acknowledge this is the fault of the website developer but a frequent occurrence), this could be six separate three combinations key (Quick Access > Email, Quick Access > Password, Quick Access> 2FA). This more than an annoyance for work or even home use, especially for those of us with limited mobility. Throw in working across multiples OSs and muscle memory goes out the window. Feature Request: Option to customize the shortcuts within Quick Access preferably allowing a single key. Auto-Paste would greatly be appreciated as well. Either via a global setting or a modifier. Two recurring and very frustrating problems with 1Password. Both problems happen with the online (webpage) version (my.1password.com) and the desktop version. The first problem also happens on my Android phone. It does not fill in passwords when I try to login to websites that are in 1Password. I have to go to 1Password and copy the password. 1Password refuses to work with Windows Hello, so I always have to enter my very long password. I have repeatedly set up Hello and have pretty much given up. Both of these things are basic functions for 1Password. What is the deal?33Views0likes2CommentsIs there a way to add an entry with a password, but no username?
I've used 1Pass for a long time Mac, where there is an option to add a "Password", which was just a password field, and a name. But with the latest version on Windows, it seems their "Password" entry is the same as "Login"--fields for both a username and password that you can't remove: Is there a way to make an entry with just the password field on Windows? 1Password Version: Not Provided Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: Not Provided Browser:_ Not Provided122Views0likes5CommentsIntegration Status Connection Problem W11
Hello, I started encountering this issue out of nowhere a couple of days ago. I didn't actively update any of the software involved in this problem. This was working fine before, and then all of a sudden it stopped, I'm getting the following error: 1Password is both running and unlocked. I've tried reinstalling 1Password, installing the beta msix file, enabling and disabling the browser setting. I also restarted the computer between attempts. I also tried the beta browser extension Nothing has worked so far to connect the app to the browser extension. This is seemingly affecting all of my browsers (Vivaldi, Chrome). I'm on Windows 11, with Windows Defender as the AV with default settings. Any help to get the integration back working would be greatly appreciated.Solved45Views0likes6CommentsSupport additional browsers outside of 'Program Files' on Windows
I've just installed the latest nightly version of 1Password, which finally introduced the 'Connect to additional browsers' feature on Windows. I wanted to try it out right away, but sadly Chromium (forks) usually install under AppData at user level. This shouldn't be a problem, since 1Password supports other Chromium browsers, such as Comet, which install under AppData. However, if you try to pick a browser outside of 'Program Files', you get this error: I'm sure there's a security reason behind this, but please let me decide what I see as secure on my system. So far, the only way I've managed to install a Chromium (fork) browser in the 'Program Files' folder was to use Winget with the '--scope machine' argument. However, smaller browsers often aren't really up-to-date on Winget (or aren't available at all) but I guess that's what 1Password wants me to use then, an outdated winget version of such browser... At least allow browsers installed under AppData/local, so that this feature will actually be useable for most people (many non techsavvy people aren't even aware of Winget).116Views0likes4Comments
