AutoLock Driving Me Insane

On my Windows PC, 1Password is constantly locking prematurely despite the fact I have auto-lock set for the maximum 8 hours. I would prefer it never lock as I live/work alone but that doesn't seem to...

Hi thetastybits1​,

I understand that you have 1Password set to lock after 8 hours, but it constantly locks prematurely.

To help me better understand the situation, could you answer the questions below for me:

  • Which browser do you use?
  • Do you have the 1Password desktop app installed as well, or only the browser extension?
  • Have you noticed any patterns to when 1Password locks, for example after opening a new browser tab, or after closing and reopening your browser?
