Slow/unresponsive UI/UX after update to 8.12.10 (Windows Desktop)
Multiple users in our organization are seeing the same regression across browsers on Windows 11. The 1Password desktop app Settings UI remains responsive, but navigation between items/tags in the main vault has a noticeable delay (often 3-7 seconds!!!), especially in our largest vault with many tags. The issue started after updating from 8.12.8 to 8.12.10. A related regression is that after clicking a tag, users can no longer immediately type to narrow/search as they previously could. We also notice similar sluggishness in the 1Password web app. I have tried switching between HW-acceleration, OpenGL and more to no avail.
This looks less like a browser-specific problem and more like a Windows desktop/webview or list-view performance/focus regression. Please confirm whether this is a known issue in the recent Windows/MSIX client and whether there is a fix in beta/nightly.
We would love a solution to this, since navigating now is painfully slow and unintuitive compared to before. It's a massive step backwards.

The UI sluggishness is universal here, i've tried with multiple different PCs and all my colleagues have the same issue. The UI is slower the more tags/items you have, which I can clearly recreate by navigating in my Private vault which has very few items. In there it's way more responsive than our shared vault which has thousands of items. In there I can wait several seconds per click.

I'm sorry that you and your team are running into issues when using 1Password on Windows 11. Regarding the following:

The “type to jump to” feature isn’t currently available because of a recent backend reengineering of the sidebar. I know that feature was really useful to some, so I’ve shared your feedback with the team and a feature request has been filed to explore bringing it back in the future.
Regarding the performance issues in the app, that definitely doesn't sound right. I'd like to ask you to create and share a 1Password diagnostics report from a Windows PC that is currently experiencing the issue:
Send a diagnostics report (Windows)
Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support@1password.com
