1Password Firefox extension used to work fine, now does nothing
For approximately a week (about the last update), the 1Password Firefox extension does nothing.
No prompts to fill username or password, and clicking on the 1Password icon in the browser bar seems to have no response. Disabling the extension and enabling it has no change. Same with uninstalling and re-installing.
Please fix this.
There are multiple similar reports on the Mozilla Addon website for the 1Password extension.

I am having the same problem (same version too). I also tried disabling extension and re-installing. Please fix bc I now need to use a different browser.
I noticed that the 1password icon looks different than it used to (see attached). The black outer ring is missing (it is still there within Edge).

I was having a seemingly related problem, and I uninstalled the current version, and then installed version 8.10.82.29 from the 1Password Firefox Extension Version History Page (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1password-x-password-manager/versions/), and that is working for me. (You also have to Manage Extension and disable auto-updates for 1password until they fix it)

Thanks :) I'll test it.

Over the last month or so my 1Password Firefox browser extension would stop responding. This was occasionally associated with a Firefox crash. This time I looked further into it and found via the Firefox Task Manager that it was using 100% of CPU. When I killed 1Password process and restarted the extension, the extension was working again.
I don't know if this is relevant but I keep a high number of tabs and windows open most of the time. Even when I shutdown my system. This allows me to have many tabs open all the time which I find useful.
Is there more I can do to determine the cause and fix it?

I created an account to come and say thank you.
You fixed the issue until 1Password fixes the issue 🙂.

As title. When I open Firefox, all URLs just hang with what looks like an https issue. Disabling the 1Password extension, quitting Firefox, reopening Firefox, and re-enabling 1P fixes the problem until the next time I quit Firefox.
Incidentally, the Launch Chatbot button on https://1password.com/contact-support goes to https://support.1password.com/?openChat but does not open a chat.

I'm running the app as well, with the menu extra, but that doesn't seem to change anything.
Yes, it turns out it's some kind of extension conflict, but I can't isolate it. For instance, 1Password+Ghostery+various (but not any? Or it's intermittent) extensions will cause this issue. What happens is that it will show "not secure" in the URL field.

I am having the same issue on firefox on a pc. I can't get logged in to some of my programs at all.
I have removed the plug in and re-added it, I have restarted my computer and it still isn't working. Now trying to get you an error log report wand when I click inspect nothing happens.
