Not sure what's the current state of this issue, but I just stumbled upon this exact issue. I wasn't able to get the Chrome extension to connect to the app as well as using the recently announced Passkey feature for Windows.
I got similar logs to the ones above, which reminded me that I recently moved (possibly by uninstalling and reinstalling) the app from drive C: to D:. I tried moving the app back to drive C:, and this issue magically disappeared.
In case if you still need any help, I'm happy to provide additional debugging information. Please let me know.

I tried to install it, as the current beta seems to keep closing by itself (possibly crashing) today. However I got the following message when I tried running it.

7 months agoHello! Thanks for trying things out. I think what's happening is that with yesterday's Stable update, that your existing version of 1Password is newer than the one in the download link in the post.
Here's the newest version of the MSIX . I think you should be good once you install this version.

Hello! Since receiving the report of this issue, we haven't been able to officially reproduce this on our end. If we see more of these reports, we will definitely take a closer look.
