Browser app integration broken when using 1Password for Windows
I was unsure where to post this issue. But after installing the stable version of 1password I am pretty sure it's the problem with Nightly Channel.
Problem started with this message on 1password Edge Extension.
"Microsoft Edge has an update. Restart Microsoft Edge to install the update and reconnect with 1password."
There is no update available for edge.
Reinstalling the extension gets rid of this message, but integration still doesn't work.
Error in extension settings
"Problem connecting, please ensure 1password is unlocked."
Completely uninstalling 1password and reinstalling the stable version of 1password desktop app solves the issue.
1Password Version: 8.10.8
Extension Version: 2.11.0
OS Version: Windows 11 23H2
Browser:_ Edge 113.0.1774.57

Might be useful to others:
If you want to rollback to previous stable (Production) version, you can do so.
The 1Password installer version 8.10.7 is available https://downloads.1password.com/win/1PasswordSetup-8.10.7.exe (official link - digitally signed version).
Procedure to rollback:
1- uninstall the current version
2- install using the 8.10.7 installer provided
3- go to Settings > Advanced then Uncheck the box for the automatic updates - OlivierPDedicated Contributor
Disappointed is the word...
Issue reported in Nightly but goes to Beta.
Despite support aware of this from multiple users, it goes to Production.
Maybe not enough to stop it... There might be more reports now.I unchecked automatic updates to stay on 8.10.7 (previous stable) on my PC until it is resolved.
I hope the team finds out the bug and correct it quickly.
In my last exchange with them, they seemed to have no immediate solution except staying in 8.10.7 - AshokleylandFrequent Contributor

It looks like this issue now ended up in 1Password 8.10.8 stable. Both Edge and Firefox Beta extensions are unable to communicate with the desktop app. I reverted back to 8.10.7 using the msi installer and all is well for now.
I understand that a bug can sometimes trickle down to production, but this issue has been reported repeatedly. Therefore honestly. I'm slightly disappointed. - leonardderOccasional Contributor
It looks like this issue now ended up in 1Password production. Ashokleyland can you confirm this?

This is broken in 1Password for Windows 8.10.8 (81008024) and either standard and beta Chrome extensions
Rolling windows app back to 1Password for Windows 8.10.7 (81007041) works fine

Ashokleyland leonardder glad to hear that you've both switched to the production version for now. Hopefully our developers can investigate and find a fix for the issue in the beta version of the app sooner rather than later. As always, thanks for using 1Password!

leonardder, yes the workaround is to go back to production.
@Joy_1P, yes going back to production solved the issue

Yes, I also switched to the production version and all is well again. Great to see that this is reproducible on your side.
