Cannot log in on Android device

I've been using 1Password fairly happily on my computer for about 6 weeks and for the first time have attempted to log in on my Android tablet. The tablet apparently scanned the QR code successfully but will not accept my password. I have made multiple tries and am positive that I've entered every blinking obscure character correctly. What now?
