Date format inconsistency when setting an alert
Are all the date format entry/display problems EVER going to be fixed??
It's now a whopping 4+ YEARS at least since these have been a problem, and ALL fields (including the relatively new Alerts f...

The only issue I can see is what gets chosen if say macOS has one date format set, with iOS & iPadOS having different date formats set.
Two options I can see:
- Revert to one OS as the dominant option? (macOS/Win? – but then what happens when you have both of those set differently?)
- Better yet, perhaps just add a simple date format option to the 1P Settings, that then sets across OS's 1P is used on?
Something surely needs to be done here relatively soon, as it looks really incongruous having two completely separate date formats for Dates and Alerts — neither of which follow what the user actually prefers in any way.

Thanks for your reply. Currently, 1Password doesn’t sync date formats across devices, nor does it offer a setting to change them directly. Instead, it follows the date format set by the operating system. I can see how a synced option would be useful, and I’ve shared your feedback with the team.
Recent updates have resolved several date-formatting issues, and we’re aiming to improve support for OS-level settings, like macOS’s Region and Date Format, in future releases. The expiry notification alert using a different format is a separate issue that’s also being tracked.
I don’t have a timeline for when these improvements might be available, but I appreciate you raising this and for your continued feedback.

OK, well we'll have to wait for that then.
When this is addressed, it might also be worth adding the DAY to dates (eg. "2025.09.04.Thu"), as often it's useful for the user to know that as part of date/alert information.
Anyway, thanks for advising. Bye.
