Failed to save item when using 1Password.com
Hello,
I need to create quite a lot of entries in a vault. I really often encounter the error "Failed to save item". It is quite irritating as the message is not easy to see firsthand, and I lost pwds that I thought were stored in the vault.
It is really easy to reproduce the error :
Create an entry, ok. Create another one, boom error.
Create an entry, ok. Update it, boom error.
I do it in my Chrome browser on linux
Example :
its ok
I add a new one
It fails.
The http query PATCH has a status code 409
Is this a known bug?
Should I do something?
Any hint, would be really appreciated

I'm sorry for missing that. Thank you for confirming that the desktop app is working and that the issue is limited to 1Password.com in the browser.
I can confirm that you're running into a known issue with the 1Password web app on 1Password.com where users may encounter an error message after making multiple successive edits. We have a work item open with our development team to get this fixed and I've shared your report there.
For the time being, for folks affected by the issue, the best workaround is to use the desktop app until the issue is resolved. I'm sorry for the disruption to your workflow.

As I said in my post, it is on my browser, On chrome, on Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS. Version 134.0.6998.88 (Official Build) (64-bit)This morning I installed the app, and I do not encounter this error in the app, only in the browser

I'm sorry that you're running into an error message when saving an item. So that I can better understand the situation, please tell me the following:
- Are you running into the issue on 1Password.com in the browser? Or the desktop app?
- If you're using the desktop app then which platform (Windows, Mac, etc...) and version are you using: Find the version numbers for 1Password and your operating system
