How do you get 1Password to fill forms (like bank info)?
I'm a new user having come from Lastpass land. Userid and password filling is working fine for me on Windows11 and iOS devices, but I can't get most other form fills to work.
Today's example was trying to fill bank info into a site on my laptop (win11, edge browser with 1password extension - all currently updated).
- It doesn't offer to fill data into the form.
- If I click on the extension and search for the info I want to use, there's no fill button (that I can see)?
Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong?

I’ll assume that this is a limitation of 1P.

Thank you for writing in, and welcome to 1Password!
I'm sorry to hear about the problem you're running into. Can you please ensure that your Login item contains the website URL?- Open and unlock the 1Password app.
- Locate your Login item and click Edit.
- Click + add website and enter the URL.
- Click Save.
If you are still experiencing an issue, can you share the website URL so I can test the behaviour?

Hi Evan. Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, the idea of adding every website that I might want to add a bank account # or CC# to doesn’t really save anytime. In fact it adds work. Most of the time, when you add a CC it’s a one-and-done event.
Maybe I don’t understand how it 1P works… but with LastPass, if it sensed a CC or bank account form, it would bring up a list of all cards or accounts and I could select the one I wanted to fill. Or it it didn’t realize it was such a form, I could search in the extension, find the correct record and select fill and it would attempt to put the save data info into the form. Is there no similar capability with 1P?
