On Windows, Chrome extensions can't connect to the client for unlocking.

Latest Windows client version: 8.10.76; Chrome extension version: 8.10.75.1.

I reported the same issue via email in 2023. Back then, I resolved it by extracting a GlobalSign certificate and re - importing it into the problematic computer. However, after updating to version 8.10.76 today, the same problem has resurfaced, and the method of re - importing the certificate no longer works.

I'm sorry that you're running into trouble when unlocking 1Password. It looks like the communication between the desktop app and the browser extension isn't working. Try this:

    1. Close all open browsers.
    2. Open and unlock 1Password for Windows.
    3. Click your account or collection at the top of the sidebar and click Settings.
    4. Turn "Connect with 1Password in the browser" off and then back on.
    5. Open your browser.
    6. Right-click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and click Settings.
    7. Turn "Integrate this extension with the 1Password desktop app" off and then back on.

If that doesn't work then I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from 1Password in your browser:

Send a diagnostics report (browser extension)

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support@1password.com

    With your email please include:
