Thank you for replying Dave.
When I went to Screen & Audio Recording, 1Password was turned on.
What I did was toggle it off then back on again and then found in 1Password a site offering 2FA. There were two choices there Scan QR Code and Ignore.
When I clicked on Scan QR Code, nothing happened.
I tried a restart of the Mac, but once again Scan QR Code did not work.

1 year agoThanks for the reply. Do you actually have the website open and displaying its QR code (on screen) for 1Password to see and scan? Do you see any error messages like "QR code detection failed" on the screen after you click "Scan QR code"?
And, just to confirm, are you using the desktop app to scan the QR code?

[QR Code Detection Failed]
This is what I got after first logging into Pocket.app using Safari, then launching 1P, navigating to my Pocket entry and clicking on Scan QR Code.

Thank you for the reply. It sounds like the screen recording permissions are configured properly but the desktop app isn't seeing the QR code on the screen. If you've already made sure that the QR code is visible on the screen before you click Scan QR Code then I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Mac:
Send a diagnostics report (Mac)
Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to [email protected]
