Re: ARM64 build on Windows auto-updates to x86 builds

1P_Dave It seems the installer is still broken though.

I've reinstalled 1Password from the Microsoft Store two weeks ago, after you've posted that the issue has been resolved. Version 8.10.70 got installed.

I've noticed that, unlike previously, 1Password now had the Update button, so the installer has clearly changed.

At some point, it has updated to 8.10.72. No issues, the update went smoothly.

Today, it offered an update to 8.10.74. But no matter what I did, it failed to update. It just never attempted a restart, and using the button in the About window, it showed an error.

So I uninstalled it again and reinstalled from the Microsoft Store.

Now I've got version 8.10.70 and no updates.

I presume the Microsoft Store installer is now completely borked, so I'm going to switch to an EXE installer from now on.

It's a bit of a shame honestly and maybe you folks should just remove it from the Microsoft Store if you can't handle it 🤷‍♂️

I'm sorry that updating 1Password for Windows is failing, I believe that I'm seeing the same issue on my end. Can you share a screenshot, or the exact wording, of the error message that you saw when trying to update? I can investigate this further on my end.

I can't anymore, but now I see that the EXE installer for Arm64 also installs version 8.10.70 and sees no updates!
