Sync iOS MacOS

A new login that I created on my iPhone in 1P has not appeared even a day later in my Mac OS desktop version. How to fix?

iOS: iPhone 16, 1P version 7.10.2

Mac OS Sequoia, 1P version 8.11.10

Thank you.

  • Hello rickychitarrone! 👋

I'm sorry that you're not seeing a new item on your Mac. As a first step, 1Password 7 is no longer supported and I recommend that you update to 1Password 8 on all of your devices: Upgrade to 1Password 8

If the issue still occurs after updating to 1Password 8 then do you see the item when you log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app)? And if you manually lock and unlock the desktop app on your Mac, does the new item appear there?

I will try the update on my iPhone. It did eventually sync, but days later. I have a third computer that's going to need to run the legacy version of 1P, as it requires Mac OS Mojave to run various work-related software that lives on it. I think I discovered that Mojave isn't compatible with 1P8.

Thanks for the reply. After you update to 1Password 8 on your iPhone let me know if you still see a delay in the item appearing when you open 1Password on your Mac. If you do then check to see if you can see the item when you log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app).

1Password 7 hasn't been updated for years and it's possible that you may run into issues. While we no longer support 1Password 7, I'll help as much as possible.

macOS Mojave hasn't received any security updates from Apple since 2021 and is vulnerable to several publicly-known vulnerabilities. I would recommend looking into updating/upgrading if possible.
