Touch ID disabled
I'm on a mac mini M1 with an apple touch ID keyboard using Sequoia 15.3.2. The touch ID works on my keyboard (for mac sign in and out) but I can't seem to figure out how to enable it to work with 1password. I'm on the latest 1password for mac v8.10.68.
Anyone else experience this and know how to make this work?
Hello chops! 👋
I'm sorry that you're unable to turn on Touch ID unlock for 1Password. Try the following steps:
- Completely turn off your Mac and then turn it on to restart it. (Don't skip this step.)
- Open and unlock 1Password for Mac.
- Choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Touch ID & Password.
- Turn off all of the features, then turn all of them back on again.
- Go back to 1Password and choose 1Password > Settings from the menu bar.
- Click the Security icon, then turn on "Touch ID".
- Lock 1Password by choosing 1Password > Lock from the menu bar.
- Now try unlocking 1Password using Touch ID.
If that doesn't work then I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Mac:
Send a diagnostics report (Mac)
Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support@1password.com
