W11 - 22H2 - Upgrade / Install 1PASS fail

Today upgrade to 8.7.2 failed on W11 22H2 (insider)
Before upgrade 1Pass was working on W11 22H2 (insider)

[2022-06-16 09:41:26.882995 +02:00] ERROR [op_windows_starter::transaction] op-windows-starter\src\transaction.rs:54: failed to rollback rename of C:\Users\FrederikVanHavere\AppData\Local\1Password\app to C:\Users\FrederikVanHavere\AppData\Local\1Password\previous. Error: The system cannot find the file specified. (os error 2)

[2022-06-16 09:41:27.735382 +02:00] ERROR [op_windows_starter::installer] op-windows-starter\src\installer.rs:160: failed to move app files. Error: Io(PermissionDenied)

[2022-06-16 09:41:29.162206 +02:00] ERROR [op_windows_starter::installer] op-windows-starter\src\installer.rs:187: Failed to start previous app. Error: The system cannot find the path specified. (os error 3)

Rename all 1pass folders and start new installation --> same error "1Password was unable to complete installation and will roll back any changes"

After roll back not able to start 1pass (no 1passwoord\app\8 folder )

    Hi @frederik9190, thank you for letting us know about this issue, and I'm sorry that you encountered it.

    Generally the PermissionDenied error means, well, pretty much what it sounds like: that something on the system has denied 1Password the permission it needs to move its files around and complete the upgrade. This could be a security app (like antivirus or an endpoint security solution), and sometimes it may be because of security settings in the OS itself.

    In any case, it's great to hear that things are now working properly - although we wouldn't generally recommend copying your 1Password folder from one device to another. In case it's helpful, I'd recommend adding 1Password to your AV apps' allow list, rebooting the device, and trying the update again.

    Did not find a solution, but copied over the dir from my other computer with the upgrade already finished. And everything works again.
