Windows 11 reentering password

I have set the option in 1password to never require reentry of my password and enabled the windows hello with TPM settings also. Why is it that nearly everytime I do a windows update that I need to reenter the password? It's annoying to the point where I've started looking for another password manager even though I really don't want to change.

    I'm sorry that you're being prompted for your account password unexpectedly. Sometimes you might need to enter your account password even if Windows Hello is turned on such as:

    • If the amount of time in Settings > Security > “Confirm my account password” has elapsed.
    • If your face or fingerprint isn’t recognized, or there was an error on your companion device.
    • If you’re trying to change your account password.
    • If you’ve restarted 1Password, including after updating 1Password or restarting your PC, when the Trusted Platform Module isn’t turned on.


    If none of these bullet points apply to your situation, then can you tell me if you're prompted for your account password even if you just restart your Windows PC when not installing any updates? Can you also confirm that you're running 1Password for Windows 8.10.70 or later

      Thanks for getting back to me Dave. Unfortunately none of the bullet points apply. 

      I can restart my machine without having to reenter the password - it seems like it's only when I do a Windows update that it asks for it again. 

      I'm running version 

      8.10.70  -  81070026

      I've attached the details of the TPM version I have as well as my 1password settings in case they are of any help.
