I have an existing 1password login item associated with a URL which works correctly for the web site. But when I launch the iPhone app the username/password are not filled in nor is 1Password popped up. (Note: iPhone auto fill is on and 1Password is the only password manager checked). When I press on the username field and click on "passwords", 1Password pops up with only "+Create item".  (I don't want to create a new login item as I already have one) There is no option to select an existing 1password login item. When I then search 1Password for the existing login item, my only option is to "Allow Once". which does correctly fill in the apps username/password, but the association to the 1Password login item DOES NOT PERSIST. The next time I launch the iPhone app, I have to search again 1Password to find it. Is there a way to force 1Password to persist an association with an existing login item with an iPhone app

Since the new version 8.11.22 and the current Chrome version 143.0.7499.147 (MacOS Tahoe 26.2), I have been experiencing an issue with internal http websites (e.g. Grafana) where 1Password does not fill in the user name or password; the option is simply missing from the login fields. Is there currently a problem?br Richard

There's another issue with this build: the extension stopped working on http sites at all.The autofill buttons do nothing either.

I am trying to restore a login from Archive using Chrome extension on a Mac where Desktop app is not installed. I tried the 1Password chat, which told me to find the Sidebar, then couldn't tell me what the Sidebar was. Please help.

I am administrator of family account; I and my wife each have our own logins to the shared vault; Is it possible to generate an Emergency kit for my wife's login with out actually logging in to her side of our shared vault.  I ask as I was generating new Kits including new recovery codes and realized I (apparently) couldn't do that without logging in to her side of things.  What is it I am missing ?  I would think that different logins would require separate recovery codes as well as Sk's.R 

Hi all! Not sure when this went into effect but it’s been this way for a while. It’s been bugging me for some time that when I go to google.com and sign in using one password, my email accounts don’t show up in the results to select from. It hasn’t always been this way and I’d love to be able to use one password if I’m logging into anything using my email credentials. 

Im tryin to test envionments in Linux.I reinstalled 1password from the Beta channel (1Password for Linux 8.12.0 81200011, on BETA channel)But I still cannot se any reference to environments in Settings. This is on Ubuntu 24.04.How do debug this?We are using Okta SSO, can that be an issue? Can it be disabled by company policy? How can I see that?

Just installed 1Password (8.11.22) on Elementary OS 8.1 using a Debian package downloaded from 1password.com.  The application installed correctly and i am able to login and access my vault.  However the window controls for the app windows are missing.  The title bar is gray but does not have minimize/maximize/close.Any ideas on how to correct? 

I've had a 1Password Families membership for years. Now I've purchased a 1Password Business account for the nonprofit organization that I run. I want to redeem the free Families membership for my own family now. I followed the instructions to do so, but when I click Manage Account, I do not see a "Claim your free family account" section, or a Redeem Now link. My own 1Password Families account indicates that I'll be billed in July for renewal. I'm not sure how to (or even if I can) redeem a free Families membership. Suggestions?

On my local LAN, I have an instance of a news feed reader program, tt-rss, running. It's recently moved to new management after its original author dropped the open source project.As it's not externally accessible, I can't easily give it something like an LE SSL certificate, so it runs over plain HTTP.I run Ubuntu, and at the moment use the 1Password Beta 8.11.22.25 plugin in Firefox 145.0.2-canonical-002-1.0 snap, so due to the ongoing sandboxing issues, 1Password browser plugin cannot communicate with the local 1Password instance, and phones home to 1Password servers instead.The URL of the internal-only service is something like:http://ttrss.internal.external.tld.country/... and it resolves to something in RFC1918 range. When I tell the plugin to "Collect Page Structure", the JSON it returns is:{ "unparsedUrl": "http://ttrss.internal.external.tld.country/", "title": "Tiny Tiny RSS : Login", "frames": [] }... so it seems like 1Password browser plugin is not even giving me the optio

How do I grant someone access to documents stored 1Password?  The user is sophisticated but does not have a 1Password account.  These are estate documents like Letter of Instructions and the user is not an executor.I'm looking for a method that is simple and can remain dormant for a number of years, I hope.Thanks,Tom Morris

The 1Password app for Android does not support the Vanadium browser (the default on GrapheneOS), which has been brought up a few times on here already. From what I can tell, those are all related to degraded autofill due to 1Password treating Vanadium as the target for the login, rather than the visited site. I've discovered that this also completely breaks Passkey support, as 1Password outright prevents using them due to the app not matching: There are two solutions that have been mentioned in the prior posts: * Adding official support for the browser * Allowing users to add browsers as trusted themselves The latter having already been implemented for macOS in some capacity. Have either of those been prioritised for the Android app? Or if not, is the lack of passkey support in the default browser of a somewhat-popular OS enough to get it prioritised? Alternatively, if anyone has a workaround to get passkeys working in the meantime I'd be very grateful! Thanks in advance 1Pas

Hello,I use 1Password both for holding current documents (passports, credit cards etc) and for keeping a record of expired ones. Unfortunately, the fixed categories for entry types mean that expired documents can't be easily separated from current ones, which makes it a bit inconvenient to quickly find current ones. It would be great if expired documents could either be given a separate category, or somehow shown on a separate display, so I only see them when that's what I'm interested in.

Hi, I setup my very first passkey using X.com.  When I attempt to login I get this dialog with options to scan a QR code or use a security key.  The sign in with pass key option in the upper right is greyed out and not clickable.  Any idea what is going on?  Sometimes if I am quick enough I can press the sign in button before the modal shows up.  

I’m running into an issue where 1Password can’t fill on any http:// pages across multiple platforms, and on iOS it can even result in a white/blank screen when I try to fill.What’s happeningiOS (1Password app + Safari extension): On http:// pages, 1Password cannot autofill.  I’m new to the MAC world so have a stupid question. When I look in the App Store I see two versions of 1Password for Macs. One appears to be a full version and the other just the plug-in for Safari. What does the full “macOS” one offer over just the Safari plug-in?Does one work better than the other? There seems to be several posts regarding v8 not working well with Tahoe.Thanks 

Hello,I'm using 1Password for Android on a Xiaomi 15 and am experiencing a major issue. Even though I’ve enabled biometric authentication (fingerprint) in the settings and selected "Never confirm with Master Password," the app still forces me to enter my account password every time I open it. It completely ignores the biometric unlock. Switching to "Use device unlock" doesn’t help either – it still only lets me type a password.Here’s what I’ve tried so far, none of which worked:- Updated to the latest version from the Play Store (including beta releases).- Turned biometric unlock off and on again and re-enrolled my fingerprints.- Cleared the app data and reinstalled.- Set 1Password’s background management to "Unlimited" in the system settings to ensure it isn’t killed in the background.- Restarted the phone, reinstalled the app multiple times and re-added the account.None of these steps solved the problem. Lately I noticed the 1Password extension in both Firefox and Chrome locks every time I exit the browser.  I haven't changed any settings in the extension, in the security section I have "automatically lock 1Password" turned off.    Since this is happening in 2 different browsers could a Windows setting or update affected how 1 password works ?   Windows 11, 1password extension 8.11.16.35 Firefox and 8.11.16.36 in Chrome.  

The 1Password extension for Firefox seems to mess up the text formatting of some code blocks. One example is to go to https://griff.systems/posts/self-contained-sqlite-database-in-powershell-script/ and look at the code blocks. They display properly when the 1Password extension is disabled, but when it's enabled it removes all of the text formatting from the code blocks, so they display as a single long unformatted string. This does not seem to be an issue with the 1Password Chrome extension; only Firefox.

I'm pretty sure I remember my master password and as of this morning I'm not able to sign in.I requested a recovery email 20 minutes ago and have not received it yet. I have all my work passwords, I really need to have this resolved as soon as possible.Please help!Claudia

One of my employees needed a reset, so I started the recovery process...He got the notification and did his part...Then I got a notification that I needed to "Complete Recovery"But now when I click to do so, I get an Error: Failed to complete recovery. Error code 451There's no way to cancel and start over... so he's stuck and can't log in.Actually, he now gets a message "Your recovery email is no longer valid. It may have been used already, or canceled by your account administrator."But I didn't cancel it... and we didn't use it already... and I'm not sure why his recovery email would no longer be valid. Any ideas?

Hi,I’m locked out of my 1Password account and need help determining my recovery options.My situation:- I DO have my Secret Key- I DO have my Recovery Code- I DO have my Emergency Kit- I do NOT have my account password anymore (it was changed and not written down)What happens:- Signing in with email + Secret Key + password fails (password is incorrect)- Attempting account recovery using the Recovery Code also failsExact error shown during recovery:“Recent attempt was cancelled.”Additional details:- The recovery code has never been used before- Correct account and email are confirmed- Tried multiple browsers and devices- I can still access my vault locally on Android using biometric unlock, but:  - it regularly asks for the account password  - the vault no longer syncs or updatesCan support confirm whether recovery is still possible in this situation, or advise on the correct next steps if it is not?Thanks in advance for your help.
