Possibly the least important regression in the forum change, but not only is that www. unwwwelcome, but even the redirect (in the wrong direction) is broken, e.g. 1password.community/signin redirects to www.1password.community/? This change to add the "www" and make it canonical also impacts the ability to search and index the site, though that is not as bad as the fact that most of the indexed text for this forum's pages isThis site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply. Or 1Password Employees. 1Password Products. PS. The forum insists on ignoring our provided text when it's a forum link, replacing it with the title. I had to remove the https:// for the example to be correctly presented.

I was known as MerryBit in the old forums and also when I was a beta tester for this new community.Why did it change to MerryBit1 when the new forum went live, and can I change it back somehow?Thanks.

Two weeks ago I used 1Password to log into Chase bank. Now when I try I get "Can't find that username and password". I've tried it in Edge, Chrome, and on my Android phone. I checked with Chase and they are not having a problem. I reset my password and was able to log in. When I reset the password I updated 1Password. I signed out and immediately tried to sign in again. I received the same error again. I did notice there is a new version that came out in the last week. I am on extension version 8.10.58.44. Has anyone else seen this problem? HiThis probably won't be a popular question but I am still on 1P v7 (MacOS 15.3) and would like to have integration with Firefox. Installing the Add On for 1P from within Firefox doesn't work. I tried installing an older, 1Password-4.7.5.90.xpi, addon but that was rejected by Firefox ("not supported").Is there still a legacy addon for Firefox available that will work with v7?Thanks.

Is there a way to remove duplicate passwords easily? I accidentally imported my Chrome and Arc password exports (which are mirrors), and now I have duplicate passwords in my 1P, as seen in the screenshot below. I can't seem to find an easier way besides using the dev-tools to write my scripts. 

I have brought this up on the main community as well. But I've noticed over the last few days that the browser extension can only be unlocked with the Master Password and even shows an error that it cannot connect to the desktop app.Curious what changed in the last few days to cause this, I will attempt to re-install the desktop app to see if it resolves anything.

Hello! I'm running the 1Password extension 8.10.48.25 with Firefox on macOS 15.1. My copy of Firefox just updated to v132 today. Now, when I try to edit an item using the browser extension, I get stuck in a log-in loop that never ends. Anyone else having this problem? Thx! I've started to notice that I have a lot of text red-underlined from the spell-checker in 1Password 8 for Mac, and I really don't want that.How can I turn it off? 🙂

I am using an iPhone 11 running iOS 17.6.1. I use 1Password to store and generate passwords and it works very well and integrates well with Apple.However when I receive a request for an app from one of my children via Family sharing, I get this screen . Here there is NO opportunity to open or access 1Password. So what am I supposed to do?Is there a way to ensure 1Password is always available?

Hey all,I just started using 1Password on my Android device again after being away for a while. In old versions, a password generator allowed you to copy that to your clipboard.Is that no longer available in the apps as a stand-alone feature?I know how it works when signing up on a website, but I just want to generate a random password as before.

I have been using my Apple Watch 10 to unlock 1password, but for some reason, 1password has just stopped seeing watch. There is no watch icon on the login dialog. There is no watch setting in 1password settings.  How do I keep 1password using Apple Watch and no just randomly lose all track of it. I have changed nothing in security since it was working.

Is there something I am missing, or is there not a way to manually add a linked app for login items using 1Password on Android?Some apps doesn't allow me to save the linked app in the 1password app and I miss this information.

I recently erased the hard drive on my Mac and manually reinstalled everything. Surprisingly, after installing 1Password, it didn’t ask me for my security key.I assume this is because Keychain automatically saved it and restored it from the cloud backup?If this is the case, would it be advisable to turn off Keychain from saving the security key in order to keep it off the cloud and stored locally only?I do have a printed copy of my security key as a backup already.

Hello, About the 1Password recovery process, for several months it has been possible to generate a recovery code. With this recovery code the chances to be locked out of the account are less, but it is necessary to have access to the email account; besides, if a user has 2FA enabled, it is also necessary to have access to a 2FA device, virtual or physical.
