10 TopicsCentral Control for Autofill Exclusions in 1Password Business
It would be very helpful if administrators in 1Password Business could set a policy to disable autofill for specific domains or subdomains. For internal portals like Topdesk we don’t need login items, and autofill only gets in the way. As an admin, I’d like to be able to centrally push this setting to a group, so users don’t have to configure it themselves. This would remove frustration for our team and make management much easier.32Views0likes3CommentsFeature Request – Centralized Multi-Instance Management for Acquired Companies
Hello 1Password Team, I’m the Head of IT at a rapidly growing company, and as part of our expansion we’re frequently acquiring other businesses. Currently, each acquired company requires its own separate 1Password instance, which creates additional administrative and billing overhead. I’d love to see a feature similar to how Okta handles multi-tenant environments — a “hub and spoke” model where: There is one main account that serves as the central management hub. Separate “spoke” accounts exist for each business unit or acquired company, each with its own vaults, permissions, and branding. The central hub can manage global policies, access controls, and reporting across all spokes. All billing is consolidated under the main account. This setup would allow us to maintain separation of data for compliance and operational purposes while still managing everything from a single administrative location. Is this something 1Password has on its roadmap, or would consider for future development? Thank you for your time and consideration, Tony Snyder48Views0likes2Comments1Password dev ressources vs IPO
Hello, since 2024, when 1Password started looking into/considered an IPO, i have the feeling all development ressources were focused solely on growing the userbase and everything else was deprioritized. For example: The terraform provider didn't get any updates (e.g. Ephemeral Values) Simple improvements are deep in the backlog: Collapsible tags Displaying the user on the "last edited" line Improvements for managing vaults/users in an enterprise context are missing: Admins still can delete Owners Vaults can be deleted by any admin without "four-eye-principle" ... There is no way to export vaults encrypted Maybe some ressources could be assigned to improvements instead of new features... /rant over81Views1like1CommentResearch opportunity: Help shape the future of 1Password + gift card for your time

In reading the 1P documentation, it seems to me that using Managed groups would allow me to specify which groups have access to which vaults and to manage the group membership in Entra groups (presumable security groups). Tech support has not been able to answer this question clearly.21Views0likes0CommentsMigrate users to Azure AD - Expiry
Hi, We are starting to move our users from password/recovery kit to Azure AD integrated. This has been going fine and we started by using a AD security group to provide the access. We had planned to use this group moving forward as we roll people onto the Azure AD SSO/SCIM, but it appears that the migration expiry date of the group is a fixed date from when the group was added. I would like not to have to create a new group as I migrate users, but I also don't want to move them all in a hail-mary fashion and add them all to the group now. Is there any way to change the migration expiration date? It appears that I can only set the maximum time as 30 days. I'm also afraid to remove the group and re-add this as it might invalidate the users who are already using the Azure SSO. Thanks for any information Jonathon Page17Views0likes1CommentNested folders in department vaults
The issue I am having is that we save a very large number of credentails and details in 1password, and currently, I am creating vaults with names of the department and a subsection name as part of the vault name As an example for illustration only: for HR, I have a vault called HR-References, another vault called HR-AnnualLeave, and another called HR-Attendance But this means we end up with a massively long list of vaults. It would be much much better if we could have nested vaults, or even folder to contains to store all the different sets of data in an organised manner under the one parent vault. so ideally we would have a vault called HR, and then within that vault, either subvaults, or folders/containers that could contain specific items by topic Hope this makes sense. Hi everybody, i'm new on 1password, and already searching for a moment how to make that my employees don't see the password when they use 1Password but can't find it. So in fact, I have some employees for who i prefer that they don't see the password when using it to logging to some website. Is there any possibility on 1password on auto-completion without any possibility to display the password? Thanks a lot for any answers! Regards, Yannick55Views0likes1Comment
