1Password8 on iPhone7
I am asking this question because I want to verify functionality.
Currently we are using 1Password7 as a family. I am happy with it and have no desire to upgrade.
I have not upgraded primarily because I have an iPhone7. It works and I have no desire to buy a new one if I don't have to do so.
Am I correct in my understanding that if I upgrade to 1Password8 that I will not be able to use 1password on my iPhone?
Can I upgrade to 1Password8 on my computer but continue to use 1Password7 to access the database on my iPhone7? Will it stop working?
What are my options?

That's correct that you wouldn't be able to run 1Password 8 on an iPhone 7, since 1Password 8 requires iOS 17.5, but the iPhone 7 isn't able to run that version of iOS.
Your family can certainly run 1Password 8 on some devices and 1Password 7 on others. The devices that are using 1Password 7 won't have access to new features that are only available in 1Password 8 but they'll still have access to shared vaults.I hope this helps and 1Password 8 will be waiting for you when you get a new phone!
