Cant get passkey to save to 1P (TicketmasterdotCOM)

I am late to the passkey game but over the last 24 hours I have been adding them to my 1P account generally w/o incident. However I am unable to get the prompt to save a requested passkey to 1P  in my established login of ticketmaster. Ticketmaster seems to be 'forcing' me to save the passkey to my windows laptop which I don't want to do. (Windows laptop using the 1P extension for Chrome).

  • I had the same issue with the website you mention and got round it by signing into the website from my mobile which successfully created the passkey in 1password.

    Yesterday I also updated 1password to the latest version which now has native Windows passkey support (so you can set 1password within Windows as your default keystore).  You might need to enable the option within 1password or Windows setttings (accounts , passkeys, advanced options). I've just tested creating a new passkey using my Windows PC and it successfully stored it in 1password.

    Hi jmjm,

    Way to go taking the plunge on passkeys! I see you have an existing support ticket about passkeys open. Please respond to that ticket with your issue with Ticketmaster and they'll be happy to help you figure out what might be causing this.

      Hello "Simon", there should be no "existing support ticket" open for me.

        My apologies for the mistake! In that case, you can email support@1password.com to start a new ticket and they'll be able to help you troubleshoot why the Ticketmaster passkey isn't being saved in 1Password.
