Passkey no longer working on Boursobank
Hello,
I uses passkey since 2023 on Boursobank without any issues.
Since a few days, I have a error that is displayed immediately (no loading or timeout) telling me that it timed out, the website switch directly to a normal login.
So I guessed there was an issue on the key itself.
I tried to revoke and create a new one, but same issue. When trying to create a new passkey, 1Password display the error "The request to create a passkey timed out". The error is also immediate (no loading or anything).
On the website, it displays "Enrolment has expired or been cancelled".
I've tried using other passkeys I have, without any issue. It seems to only impact Boursobank.
Using Firefox 138.0 + Extension on Windows 11 24H2
Hello folks,
Our developers believe that they've identified an issue where a low timeout value set by Boursobank is causing 1Password's passkey flow to fail. A fix has been coded and is currently available in the latest version of 1Password in the browser. Please update to 8.11.0 or later:
If you're still running into an issue after updating then let me know and I can help further.-Dave

Hello folks,
I'm sorry that you're unable to save a passkey for Boursobank in 1Password. A bug report has been opened with our development team to investigate this further. For the time being, to workaround the issue until it's resolved, try to use one of these options:
- Use 1Password on your mobile device to save or sign in with a passkey. You can use the scan QR code option to save or sign in with a passkey on your desktop device using your mobile device.
- Use a different methods such as a password to sign into Boursobank.

Same problem on macOS 15.4.1 on Chrome Version 136.0.7103.49 (Official Build) (arm64)
- with 1Password for Mac 8.10.75
- with extension 8.10.72.27
I followed the instruction provided by 1P_Dave Here and it does NOT work.
Honestly if it comes from 1Password, there is a pretty serious QA issue that needs to be addressed. 1Password is SPOF and need to be treated as such. - jroNew Contributor
Hello,
Same here, and the same behavior (all app in the latest version) :
- Not working on macOS with Firefox or Safari
- Boursobank passkey working with passkey on apple Passwords
- Working on Safari iOS with 1p
Glad to see I'm not alone !

I'm facing the same issue with BoursoBank, I tried to create a passkey again but 1Password is showing the same error is that case as well.
Chrome for Mac 135.0.7049.115 + Extension 8.10.72.27

Good to know I'm not alone on this :)

Me too !
Interestingly, it’s behaving the same way in both Chrome and Safari on Mac, same error. But it seems to be working fine in Safari on iOS. Maybe it’s only affecting desktop browser extensions?

Hello Dunecat, on my end Google passkeys still works.

Similarly, passkey login to Google services is no longer working, either. Seems a result of the latest update.
