Repeatedly asked to setup touchID

I'm getting into a very annoying issue since I moved from 7 to 8 (to the point that I'm considering dropping this version of 1Password8 altogether).  Almost every  time I open it, I get the prompt "1Password is trying to setup TouchID for  your account" . Each time I touch "TouchID" to allow this. And then I get asked again! It has been mentioned Repeatedly asked to set up touch ID | 1Password Community and trying to setup Touch ID | 1Password Community  . I'm on production release channel, 8.10.72 . Is there still no stable solution  ? Thanks!

    Hi! 

    I use touchID to unlock whenever possible, I haven't noticed a pattern (i.e. hard to test as once unlocked it doesn't ask for anything for a while). I don't have apple watch.

      Thanks for the reply. The next time that the issue occurs, let me know if it's when you've already unlock 1Password using your account password or using Touch ID / Apple Watch. 

      If you're seeing a prompt that says "1Password is trying to set up Touch ID for your account" only when unlocking 1Password using your account password (not when using Touch ID / Apple Watch) then I can confirm that this is a known issue that our development team is investigating.

    Thank you for reaching out and I'm sorry for the disruption the issue is causing. As mentioned in the threads that you linked to, there is an active known issue where 1Password will ask you to setup Touch ID when you unlock 1Password for Mac using your account password and Touch ID unlock is enabled. 

    You said that you see the prompt almost every time that you open 1Password, can you tell me the following:

    1. Do you almost always unlock 1Password using your account password? If you unlock 1Password just using Touch ID do you see the prompt? 
    2. Are both Touch ID unlock and Apple Watch unlock enabled for 1Password? Or just Touch ID unlock?
