My wife had an individual !Password account. Later I subscribed to a Family account. I invited my wife to join the Family account. She received the invite and used the same username and password she had on the individual account for the family invitation. She received the secret key for the family account which is different from her individual account. I am using an IPhone and she is using a Samsung. I have confirmed/verified her account on my app. When she logs in to 1Password app using her password, which is the same for both account, it enables her individual account and shows the family account as "locked". The only way to unlock the family account is by using the organizer password and then she has access to ALL passwords including the organizer private vault. If she logs in to 1 Password by scanning her fingerprint, the app enables both her individua and family accounts, but she has access to all folders of the family account including the private vault of the organizer. Is it how the family account is supposed to work?20Views0likes1CommentDupliate passwords choices
Stareted recently, that for any login I am presented with 2 option to choose id & password. Entries are identical, but always double. This is on Android Samsung Internet Browser and Chrome as well. I did all cleanup of cache, even reinstall the browser but issue persist. I disabled and enabled form fill, no avail. Looking for some help what else to try. Thanks.65Views1like7Comments1Password disconnect message issue
On the 1Password app, when the app is disconnected from 1Password's servers, a message displays on the bottom of the screen. Tapping the message caused the app to reconnect but the disconnected message stays. Is it possible to make this message confirm that connection with the 1Password servers has been re-established?11Views0likes1CommentUpgrading from 1Password 7 to 8 supposed to get 1 year free but did not
Hello, I saw in my 1Password 7 app that it was offering a 1 year free subscription if I upgraded to a subscription prior to January 1, 2026. I checked the date and today was December 31, 2025 so I performed the upgrade and was told that the code was invalid. I checked my account after the upgrade and it says I only have a 14 day trial. I emailed support but given how difficult it is to contact support, I am concerned that I will not hear back until after January 1, 2026 and will be told that the 1 year free upgrade has passed. Has anyone experienced this same thing and is there a way they will still honor the code that they claimed was active until January 1, 2026? Issues like this sew significant doubts in the mind of security minded folks especially when it comes to a security tool like a password manager.Solved288Views0likes12CommentsCase issue when adding text to items
Perhaps this doesn't happen on other Android devices. These suggestions all pertain to a Samsung Galaxy A32 5G phone running Android 13, the highest allowed for this device. When you add a text field to an entry, 1Password doesn't like the double tap to keep the text uppercase. The editor will automatically lower the text and you have to tap, enter an uppercase letter, tap again, enter an uppercase letter and so on.7Views0likes0CommentsFeature Request: Warn or Postpone Upcoming Master Password Reauthentication
I'm not quite sure if that was discussed before as i couldn't find that particular issue. The periodic reauthentication with the Master Password is a good and necessary feature — especially in professional or company environments where security must remain strict. However, it would be very helpful if the app could: Notify the user shortly before a reauthentication is required, and Allow postponing it, e.g. options like “Remind me in 10 minutes,” “in 1 hour,” or “in 1 day” This would make it easier to avoid being forced to type the password in stressful or inappropriate situations (e.g. when others are around or when in a hurry). This request is specifically about the Master Password reauthentication, not regular unlocks using Face ID or Touch ID.Solved154Views2likes10CommentsAdd support for Vanadium (the default browser of GrapheneOS) to the android app
Hello, I am a privacy-focused individual and am using GrapheneOS to reduce the tracking Google and Google Play Services can do. Can you please raise a ticket to add Vanadium as a supported browser? Its based on Chromium and the patches that are made to Chromium can be viewed https://github.com/GrapheneOS/Vanadium. Most of it is just upstream Chromium, as such it has the same support for autofill that Chromium has. Thank you!Solved121Views2likes4CommentsCannot create passkeys for some apps (Android)
I am unable to create passkeys for some apps on android (like eBay). I always get the error message "Error creating passkey: The website or service was not able to send the required data to 1Password" When i try to create a passkey through the browser the option does not show up on Kiwi Browser and in Cromite i see the option but i can only delete, not create new passkeys. When i logout and try to log into the app again the app does not offer using the passkey i was able succesfully create on Windows. The logs show this: ```ERROR 2026-01-18T09:05:01.103+00:00 runtime-worker(ThreadId(9))[1P:/mnt/ephemeral/builds/dev/core/core/service/op-service-autofill-passkey/src/passkey_android.rs:61] Invalid request: Failed to deserialize credential from request: <redacted json data error>```15Views0likes1CommentExpiry date
I had suggested to have an option for expiry date so the app can alert to change the password. This has been implemented and I'm happy. Well the thing is it gives options to alert before a date. If the date of expiry or time to change is known then it's fine like in case of driving license or passport etc. For login passwords it's after a month or 2 or after 90 days or 180 days. So it would be great to have this option updated.445Views0likes15CommentsSupport for Passkeys in Vanadium
The 1Password app for Android does not support the Vanadium browser (the default on GrapheneOS), which has been brought up a few times on here already. From what I can tell, those are all related to degraded autofill due to 1Password treating Vanadium as the target for the login, rather than the visited site. I've discovered that this also completely breaks Passkey support, as 1Password outright prevents using them due to the app not matching: There are two solutions that have been mentioned in the prior posts: * Adding official support for the browser * Allowing users to add browsers as trusted themselves The latter having already been implemented for macOS in some capacity. Have either of those been prioritised for the Android app? Or if not, is the lack of passkey support in the default browser of a somewhat-popular OS enough to get it prioritised? Alternatively, if anyone has a workaround to get passkeys working in the meantime I'd be very grateful!
