The 1Password apps on my iPhone, iPad and Samsung phone are all offline, pressing reconnect does not help. I can log out and log in again, so there is some sort of connection, but the app is then in offline mode again. I contacted Support 2 days ago, but have not heard anything back so far (which is annoying in its own right).41Views0likes3Comments1Password Not Able To Log In To Gmail With Passkey
This is on Samsung S23. I am trying to log into gmail with a passkey stored in 1password but it does not work. This passkey works perfectly on my desktop. My understanding is that passkeys stored in 1password are supposed to be usable across devices. I have 1password set as my preferred autofill service and I have autofill with chrome enabled. When I try to log in, it only checks the Google password manager vault, and the option to autofill the passkey from 1password is never given. For my org, I am unable to log in to my email with a password, so I MUST use a passkey from 1password to log into my device. I see a lot of complaints about 1password autofill on Samsung devices on this community as well as on reddit. Is passkey autofill from 1password fully supported on Samsung devices? Please advise. I've downloaded a new app, First Alert by Resideo. I'm creating a new account through the app. There isn't an option to create it on their website. When I get to the password field, my saved Identities show up. Since I don't want to use those, but instead want to create a new login, I tap "Open 1Password". 1pass opens and it shows "Suggestions for Resideo.com", which are only my saved identities. There is a +New Item button at the bottom of the list, but when I click it I'm only given the option to create a new identity. How can I create a new login instead? I've had this happen in other apps before, but when it happens I can usually create/save a login through the website. I'm on a OnePlus 12, Android version 16.49Views0likes4CommentsBiometric unlock not working: That didn't work. Check your password and try again
Hello!, I am experiencing an issue where my android app keeps failing to login with biometrics and when I login with master password it will also keep MFAing me. I enter it time and time again, but once I close the app or lock it, re-opening causes the same issue.| I will also note it is also refusing any of my MFA keys, only takes MFA via OTP. I am able to use my biometrics on 3 different applications, MFA keys via firefox. Issue: Biometric logins keep failing, and app keeps asking for MFA every time I enter master password. Error: "That didn't work. Please try again." Note: app does not allow attempting again, only allows master password. Troubleshooting: - Cleared all local storage and logged in again. Nofix. - Cleared all local storage, removed app, downloaded fresh, and logged back in. Nofix - Phone reboot. Nofix - In Settings>Security set: Confirm account: Every 30 days Lock mobile app on exit: Never Lock mobile app when device locks: Disabled - Locked device, entered master password, locked again, prompted for biometrics. Fails/nofix. - Set to password only (no biometrics). Works, no MFA prompt - Set to device unlock. Also fails? - Obtaining and sending diagnostics logs App info: App version 8.10.64 81064007 on Production Channel Device info: Motorola Razr 2024 Android 14 U3UCS34.63-88-12-3Solved1.6KViews2likes52CommentsPasskey not filling on Android
I keep running into an issue where the passkey can be created in both the app and website for shop.app / shopify.com and it can store in 1password but when you go to use it, it insists it must look in the default android store instead of 1password. I re-established the 1password autofill and other passkeys are fine, it's just this one that isn't recognizing. Well, there are a couple honestly, but maybe 90% of the sites load just fine. Is there something different about some sites that make them not work?55Views1like1Comment1Password is not respected as the default passkey manager on Android
Google Pixel 8 Pro Android 16 1Password for Android 8.11.6 Today, I decided it was the day to setup Passkeys across the supported website/services. Started 1Password for Android - > Watchtower and selected uber.com. Went to the suggested URL after tapping "Use Passkey". URL went to https://account.uber.com/passkeys. Logged in. Was presented the Passkeys page for Uber. Tapped + Create a passkey. Tapped Create a passkey at the popup dialog. Bam! Google Password Manager pops up asking if I would like to create a passkey to sign in to account.uber.com. Cancelled. I remembered doing this already so I went to the following places to check settings. Chrome -> ... -> Settings -> Google Password Manager -> Settings. Checked the following; Offer to save passwords (disabled), Automatically create a passkey to sign in faster (disabled), Auto sign-in (disabled). Chrome -> ... -> Settings -> Autofill Services. Checked Autofill using another service (Enabled). Tapped Android Settings and this is the 3rd place I check next. Alternatively, I can get to it by navigating as per point 3. Android Home Screen -> Settings -> Passwords, passkeys and accounts -> 1Password (Preferred service) - Enabled. Additional services: Microsoft Authenticator (disabled), Google (disabled). Can you put in checks in place please so this doesn't happen? If Google is doing something naughty, can you please work with them to resolve this? Please? Besides this, my experience on Android has been a mixed bag. Some login prompts, 1Password will have no issues popping up offering to autofill. But the MAJORITY of apps and websites, 1Password Autofill simply doesn't do enough. I have to jump back and forth to copy and paste passwords. Please let me know how I can help you folks resolve this.Solved1.7KViews3likes13CommentsI used 1password for Android 11, but I can’t anymore.
Hello, people. I’ve been using 1Password 8 (and previously 1Passport 7) on my Xiaomi Mi9T (2020) Pro for a long time now. My Android version is 11, and I can’t upgrade it. Agilebits announced on january 2026 that «With the late-February release of 1Password for Android, we will be increasing the minimum Android version to Android 12» but also «Devices that don’t meet the minimum version by the deprecation date can continue using 1Password for Android, but app updates will be unavailable until the device is updated to a supported Android version». So I thought I could use my phone for some more time. My battery couldn’t sustain a heavy use anymore after 6 years, so I decided to change it for just 60€ with the official assistance of Xiaomi; before service, I erased all stuff with a factory reset and used my wife’s Samsung (with Android 12) for a week. When I got back my Xiaomi I tried to install everything, but the Play Store told me that I could not install the current version of 1Password. So I thought about installing a previous version with the technique go to my account/manage apps&devices/select “not installed”. But I could ONLY install 1Password 7 as a previous version. The “uninstalled” 1Password 8 is incompatible with my phone (obviously). Nothing would have changed if I had NOT erased my phone AND/OR if I had NOT used my wife’s phone, I know. Ironically, while my Xiaomi was in service, I received the invoice for my 1Password account renewal… I also tried to find an APK of a previous version from sites as “UpToDown” but it failed to install. So it seems that now I have to drop my phone, with the new battery inside, and buy a new one. Unless someone has some possible solutions to share with me. Thanks in advance. On Android it does happen most of the time, but not always. I have selected a collection. Whenever I have to enter my account password to the-login to 1P, and often also after the automatic locking of the app, the whole account is selected instead of my previously chosen collection. The steps are mainly Open the 1P app Select the collection Leave the phone alone for some time, e.g. some minutes or hours Open and unlock the app again The collection is not selected anymore44Views0likes2CommentsNew Feature "Expiry date" - Where is the alert?
I would like to know if I just don't understand it or if it doesn't work. I have added a date to an item and set an alarm for the day before. But no alarm appears on the day of the alarm?! I can only see that the item is expiring or about to expire when I navigate to the item itself or look in the watchtower. However, I understand "alert" to mean something else. My expectation is that there is either a notification from 1Password or I at least get some kind of indication on the main screen, e.g. a newly introduced category "expired" with a red 1 on it or something. Is there anything else planned, as I don't find it very helpful as it is now.Solved3.8KViews12likes37CommentsHow do we get better fills on android?
I am a lastpass user that is trying out 1Password because I got access to it via EERO+. On paper, this looks like an upgrade. It handles authenticator TOTP, it has a shared vault instead of having to send and accept individual sharing password requests, it has better security, the desktop app works with browser extensions etc. But the major problem is, it will not fill things on android as well as lastpass. It rarely if ever fills a username which means all logins that are 2 step - fill in username, click next, fill in password - I have to go to the app and search to find the username. And when it comes to the password field, it's less aggressive than lastpass. Maybe this is a design choice but as much as 1password seems better (and free with eero+ to boot) it's a deal breaker for me. I have to balance convenience with my security and especially so for my non techie wife, I can't make her work flow any harder and to share passwords we have to use the same password manager - and it just makes sense to do so, if I become incapacitated I need her to know how to get into mine (and yes, having had a heart attack and a cardiac arrest and bit the dust for 3 minutes before being revived, I worry about this). So I would like to ask is there any way to make 1password more aggressive at filling in boxes? I'd rather have it ask me for things it shouldn't (like lastpass) than the reverse. If some people don't like it, make it configurable thru settings. I would like to switch to your product but the way it works now, I can't.43Views0likes2Comments
