Hi! There's this new browser called "Zen browser" It's based on Firefox but the 1password extension doesn't work with the desktop app 1Password Version: Not Provided Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: Not Provided Browser: Not ProvidedSolved15KViews52likes168CommentsNative Password AutoFill Extension macOS
So one of the people in my family subscription for 1P relies heavily on iCloud Keychain. The nice piece about using the native autofill extension is entries from both show up together in-line. This happens on iOS (or if you use other password managers it secure by each provider but both are offered the same way together). in terms of migration and allowing those who wish to use both depending on the context. It would be nice to support the native autofill extension, but further it limits exposure or need for safari extension. Should someone not want to use or can't install the extension due to work policy or just rather not use safari extensions thanks. 1Password Version: 8.x Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: macOS 12.6 Browser:_ Safari4.9KViews15likes152CommentsNew Feature "Expiry date" - Where is the alert?
I would like to know if I just don't understand it or if it doesn't work. I have added a date to an item and set an alarm for the day before. But no alarm appears on the day of the alarm?! I can only see that the item is expiring or about to expire when I navigate to the item itself or look in the watchtower. However, I understand "alert" to mean something else. My expectation is that there is either a notification from 1Password or I at least get some kind of indication on the main screen, e.g. a newly introduced category "expired" with a red 1 on it or something. Is there anything else planned, as I don't find it very helpful as it is now.Solved2.2KViews9likes29CommentsDate format is incorrect in 1Password for Mac
Hi, greetings from the UK. I noticed that the date / time format for created / modified uses North American format (ie. back to front for us Brits). Could this be changed to use the locale of the user please? Many thanks. 1Password Version: 8.7.1 Extension Version: 2.3.5 OS Version: macOS 12.4 Browser:_ Firefox 101.0Solved16KViews8likes272CommentsWells Fargo Passkey Not Saving In 1P

Every day the safari plug in fails to work until I restart Safari. Any idea why? I'm talking about autofill in login boxes. When I click on the 1p icon in the menu bar it spins for a while, then shows the correct item, but the autofill button does nothing. Then when I restart safari, the autofill suggestion is now there, but invariably there will be an error the first time I submit until I reload the page. The last time this happened was when attempting to login here to post this. This is new behavior since the last set of updates. Are you aware of any issues? Hi! The "Masked Email" integration with Fastmail is so great. What a great idea and partnership between the two companies. https://support.1password.com/fastmail/ However, as pointed out in other threads here, for some reason, the 1Password browser extension (in Safari in my case) does not always detect when it's appropriate for the "new masked email" feature to be triggered: https://1password.community/discussion/136207/how-to-trigger-masked-email-prompt https://1password.community/discussion/127646/fastmail-masked-email-creation-in-1password-extension That is, the browser extension doesn't always "see" the email field in the form. I totally understand that form detection and analysis is probably SUPER complicated and the 1P team is probably the best in the world at this. That said, until this detection issue is figured out, I propose… Creating a path to manually trigger the "create a new masked email" flow. For example, by adding an option under the "+ New item" button. So you could click: 1P > New item > Masked email This would be similar to 1P > New item > Login …except that the "email" field would be pre-filled with an auto-generated masked email. With that UI flow in the browser extension (and main standalone apps) would make this feature much more accessible. Bonus: Currently when following the New item > Login path, when prompted for an "email" the dropdown suggests recently used emails. I would also expect that list (maybe at the top of that list!) to include a "new masked email" option. 1Password Version: 1Password for Mac 8.10.40 (81040031) Extension Version: 2.27.1 OS Version: Mac OS 14.6.1 Browser: Safari 17.6201Views7likes9CommentsmacOS Sequoia Autofill
I've seen some places in this forum where you guys have informed people that 1Password doesn't use the macOS autofill settings. I was just curious if there are technical reasons that prevent you from using this, or if there are specific design reasons for not adopting it, or if it's something that's coming in a future update. It seems like the native autofill integrations would be the best option, but maybe not. 1Password Version: Not Provided Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: macOS 15.1 Browser: Not Provided661Views6likes9CommentsFeature Request - Link to related item in a different vault
Please add a way to link to an item in another vault. Assuming you have access to all vaults in play, there should be a way to link to a related item no matter which vault it's in. For example, linking a login item in my personal vault to a secure note in a shared vault. 1Password Version: 8.10.30 Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: macOS 14.4.1 Browser: Not Provided205Views6likes9Comments
