How is this not a feature?"Hide on this page" does not suffice for the entirety of a domain. If anything, just add in ability to edit "Hidden pages" & allow wildcards, it's 2026...

This used to work until recently.  It DOES still work with the Chrome extension.  But I don't use Chrome because I do NOT want Google to track my every move.

I tried posting info about a new fatal crash in the latest 8.12.24 deb package, but someone/something immediately marked the discussion as spam. Can someone on the community moderator team please take a look? I posted logs and a workaround in the thread, and I think other Linux users might appreciate knowing about it.

I am currently working on implementing Passkey authentication based on https://github.com/w3c/webauthn/wiki/Explainer:-Related-origin-requests. Chromium and Safari seem to support this feature. With 1Password, the registration of a new Passkey is not possible. As expected for clients not supporting ROR, the registration fails with Failed to core.webAuthnRegister: ⛔ Core error code: {"type":"WebAuthnError","data":{"type":"OriginRpMissmatch"}} Are there any plans to support ROR in 1Password?

Like @Karmuk, I just noticed this today, taking a date down as 4/12/xxxx as 4 December, which got rejected why I tried to use it in the application I had to enter it into. This is the latest Android app. Also noticed my dob is wrong too. If you edit the date, it shows the correct date, but the display shows it in us format. This is pretty poor behaviour from what is supposed to be one of the best password managers around. It's such basic behaviour. Luckily I was allowed a second valuation attempt with that date, otherwise I would have been locked out. I can't believe that this thread is a year old and it's not been addressed.

I'm seeing the issue with repeated "Welcome to 1Password" pop up. I'm on the latest version of MacOS and checked to make sure I have the latest version of the Safari browser extension.Anything I can do to stop it?

I tried following the instructions at https://www.1password.dev/cli/secrets-environment-variables. I am using 1password for work. I have multi vaults in multiple accounts.I work across many businesses and have user, admin accounts to manage across ad, m365, aws etc (yes sso would be better).   for locating the right account quickly it might be nice to be able to select tag for <company name> AND <type e.g. admin> AND then vendor like AWS or just company as required.I could create lots of tag pairs but that would be really messy.   e.g. companyA_admin_aws.   Views or multi select would be really useful!I know it might be a corner case for the user base though.ty

I am using 1password for work. I have multi vaults in multiple accounts.The sorting order appears to stay consistent between vaults/accounts. I'd like an option to have a per view (for the lack of a better term) sorting options. For example: I want my favorites sorted in title order as it's a select set and easy for me to locate what I need.  However when I go to a vault used by users I need to find most recent additions to take some actions, then I need to change sorting... then change it back when I return to favorites.Is there any way to improve this?thank you!

I've been using the deb package distribution for 1Password on Linux for a long time. I've recently established a LOC with Ameriprise and set up login to their site saving all information into 1Password as I do with sites I'll log into frequently. All worked fine the first time.  Then I logged out and tested the process by trying to log in again.  I got a 401 Error code from the Line of Credit site.  This happened numerous times.  I spoke with Customer support at Goldman Sachs and worked through many iterations including creating new passwords and cleaning my Chrome Browser history numerous times. But each time I logged out and tried to login again I got the same error code. Ultimately,  I removed all login info from 1Password, set up a new password for the site and did not save it in 1Password which I had turned off.  Login, sign out and login again all worked.  Then I added the site back into 1Password and the same error code appeared.  It seems that some interaction between 1Password and this site is the issue. 

When you go into Watchtower and select a category, the resulting list has a pull down menu of categories that acts like a filter.It would be really helpful to make this menu multi-select.  For example, I want to identify all of my passwords that have Weak passwords AND have Passkeys available. As it stands, you have to pick one option and then parse through every credential in that category to find any other condition which just seems unnecessary. 1P can clearly identify all of these conditions at the same time. 

Hi,For a very long time I am using 1Password in combination with my Unifi (ui.com) account.This SSO account is used for my local devices as well as for the Unifi portal.It is secured with a MFA / OTP.Whenever I am logging on with a browser, the auto-fill for username+password works as expected.Also the OTP is filled in but it is not accepted.When I copy+paste the OTP, it's accepted.I have added a new OTP in 1Password (as suggested by 1P AI Chatbot) but this does not help, the issue still remains.Tested browsers: https://brave.com/latest/Safari Version 26.5 (21624.2.5.11.4)My issue: I don't know why 1P Extension auto-fill works but uses an invalid OTP

After waiting a few days, I wanted to test whether the recovery process works as expected.I went to the 1Password login page in my browser and clicked the link indicating that I was having trouble signing in. I then entered my email address.In the email I received (“We’ve received your request for help with 1Password”) I clicked the “View my account” button. On the next page, my 1Password account was shown, and after selecting the account, I was able to enter my recovery code.However, the recovery process does not seem to work as expected. After entering the recovery code, I repeatedly receive the error message: “Something went wrong.”My recovery code is correct, and I have already waited a few days before testing it again, but I still keep getting the same error

The presence of code whose only purpose is to leak secrets to AIs is a vulnerability magnet and has no utility.Even if you are using AI for production workloads, everything should be going through a proxy that holds secrets, where a user can review every action it takes; as every single product in this category says, "AI can make mistakes" and it should not be allowed to make mistakes with sensitive data.Any secret exposed to a model, at the very least, goes through the model provider and leaks your secrets into their logs.I currently have the MCP server disabled in the "labs" section of the app, but its presence there is a constant source of anxiety and makes me think of migrating to Apple's passwords app every time I see it.

We use 1Password heavily in build systems where we have configuration and credential files in 1Password that are pulled in by the build process.Once these text files are a few screens tall, it's bad to edit them in 1Password. You have to search to find the key you're supposed to edit, but Find in 1Password goes straight to the main Find.Therefore, we're in the crazy situation that we have to copy these files over into a text editor to edit them and then paste them back into 1Password, just to get a Find feature.This reduces our security dramatically, because there's no telling what disk caching any given text editor will do. So ironically, in our attempt to strengthen our security, we end up weakening it, all because it's impossible to properly edit long text records in 1Password.A Find feature inside the text would solve 90% of the problem.The font is absolutely massive when the text record is shown read-only in 1Password.

Oddly enough, 1password doesn't work for credential generation when creating an account.... on this very site. 

in my work environment I usually login with a username + password, which I store in 1P. this work on most sites in our domain (e.g. workdomain.com). there is a specific site "special.workdomain.com", where I need to login with username + OTP. The OTP is not generated by 1P. I defined custom login behavior for this site to "never fill on this site". When I go to the special site, 1P is quiet, as expected, but when I click into the username field I, 1P still provides suggestions, which is irritating. (Some of them are even wrong.) After entering the correct login data manually, 1P wants to save/update a login, which is very irritating. Updating will override my password with the OTP, saving a new login will save the OTP, which is useless. I get notices from my security company that a password is breached. They only send a small portion of the password like ed**** or ed***g. How can I search for this in 1Passwrd.
