Hello, the only way to migrate from KPM seems to be export csv. However, the data exported is not in compatible format. Someone tried this before? Any suggestions on how to convert data? Thanks. Some recent update or configuration that was pushed to default set my Safari to use the native Mac passwords form field controls for 1Password. I want to disable this. This option is disabled, and believe that if it is enabled. I’ll get the experience I want back. What do I need to do, to get this option back ? Why do i want this? First: the native controls asks me for touch-id to fill in my username, and my password, and my OTP. That’s three taps for one login. Even if the 1Password extension is unlocked, which it always is because i use it to open the page. I don’t know if this is a Mac Passwords thing or a 1Password MacOS integration thing, either way, it’s an incredibly terrible experience. Second: The native controls only ever show the first entry. I have to manually navigate to “show more” when I have multiple accounts I could use. Again, this is annoying. Strange thing happening that I don’t understand and can’t fix:1)1P makes me fill in my password when I go to a website when it is already unlocked - I unlock it via the icon in the top toolbar on my Mac - but when I go to login to a website, it does not recognize that 1P is already unlocked and it forces me to input my password and I can’t use fingerprint - I must type password).  Just started acting this way - why is it doing that?2)Why do I have to turn off my ad blocker to login to the forum?3)I wanted to attach screenshots to show what I am talking about in item 1 but I can’t figure out how to do so in this new forum.

I am a new user.  I created a vault, imported my old passwords into my Personal vault… everything was fine until I created a new entry with a secure note.  Now my sidebar keeps hiding.  I bring it up by clicking the sidebar icon on top, I see the sidebar, I do something with it, and the minute i hit enter, the sidebar disappears again.  how can I keep it on my screen?  I tried Cntl-shift-D and that just brings up chrome bookmarks.  Isn’t there somekind of “pin sidebar on screen” function somewhere?Help, this is driving me crazy and making it hard for me to do anything.

So lately I’ve noticed that when I need to pick a password, iOS would come up to prompt me to use a strong password like in the attached screenshots.  Nothing however happens when I press “Fill strong password”. Is this even a 1Password prompt? I have to manually open 1Password and create a login.  iOS version 26.5 1Password for iOS 8.12.26 (81226040)  

Hello 1Password Community! With the next update to the 1Password desktop app (version 8.10.80), we have improved how date formats are handled when viewing and editing an item. Leading up to this update, there has been some inconsistency with how the desktop application has handled date formats when viewing and editing items. In some cases, date formats were being determined by the display language set in 1Password whereas in other cases, date formats were being determined by the language set against the device. This has led to some users seeing different date formats within the desktop app causing confusion. With this update, we've made things consistent by ensuring that dates saved against items always appear in a format determined by the locale set against your device (both when viewing and editing items) and never by the display language set in 1Password. This way, the desktop application can support more date formats than just the ones tied to the display languages that we support.

I have a login saved for `https://grafana.foo.bar.mydomain.net` with “Only fill on this exact host” selected.However, when I’m on  `https://whatever.something.mydomain.net`, this login is also offered. Maybe related: Recently I noticed that adding a “Never fill on this website” URL to an entry is not honored either.

I changed it by hand on the Windows version, and it didn't transfer to the Android. I am trying to reduce the number of login entries, but it seems every website acts differently. I was hoping 1Password would handle all this. and I must be missing something. Should I have waiting some time for the change to go to the phone?

I have 1Password installed on about a dozen devices and browsers. Every time there's an update to 1Password, I get a red notification indicator on every device and in every browser extension, wanting me to see what's new. To dismiss this notification indicator, I have to click through several steps, and it's annoying. Frankly, the What's New has rarely ever shown me anything of interest and it's a waste of my time to open it up. Shoving this notification in my face on all my devices is just kinda rude. The 1Password browser extension has a setting to automatically lock after the system has been idle for a certain amount of time. This setting doesn't seem to be very reliable -- even if I leave my computer idle overnight, I often find that the 1Password browser extension is still fully unlocked in the morning. Would it be possible to add an option to the 1Password extension settings that locked it after the extension was unused for some time? For example, the following scenario: I configure the 1Password browser extension to auto-lock after it's not been used for 10 minutes. I unlock 1Password and log in to my bank (etc). After finishing my banking, I do some other work on the computer for an hour. After 10 minutes, the 1Password browser extension auto-locks (despite the computer being in use). Have tried various combinations of quitting browser + app, and toggling / untoggling the "Integrate this extension with the 1Password desktop app" and "Connect with 1Password in the browser" settings in the extension / app, respectively. Have toggled on and off the "Allow in the background" setting in System Settings->General Still getting "Status: Problems connecting 🟠. Please make sure the 1Password app is unlocked." 100% of the time when using the extension, and no option for TouchID BEYOND frustrated at this point. website property inside 1Password Login Item is a great feature which helps to automatically detect and auto fill username and password into the form fields. What's great about it and what's already implemented: You can actually create multiple website properties and still any of the matching websites will work You can set the domain to the website property and any subdomain of that domain will work You can set the domain to the website property and any subdirectory of that domain will work However I can give an example from https://www.netlify.com/ (web deployment platform) which won't match with any of the above 3 features. Let's assume I am developing web application and I set my application url as https://some-app.netlify.app. Netlify has a greate feature to customize subdomains based on the different deployment strategies. For example if I am now working on new github branch and I create a PR #100, then Netlify automatically creates new deployment url https://deploy-preview-12

I'm new to 1Password. Once I get 1Password set up in my browser, can't someone else using my computer get into my accounts by simply clicking on the 1Password icon in the browser? Or, if my computer is stolen, can't they get into my accounts by clicking on the 1Password icon in the browser? I have recently noticed my phone getting quite warm whilst browsing using Safari. I connected my phone to my Macbook Pro and retrieved the logs. Logging into https://www.peoplesbancorp.com/ use to work flawlessly but lately most times it doesn’t work.Using latest Brave browser. Tried resetting autofill settings. Restarted brave didn’t help.I have to copy/paste manually. Afterward if I logout then back in, autofill is available & populates the fields correctly. After an unknown amount of time it no longer autofills. Any ideas what else to try?To add. If I restart 1password it autofills correctly but seems to forget after a while. 

As the subject notes, I've noticed 1password locks itself within about 10 seconds regardless of what I've set the auto-lock setting to. This makes copying and grabbing passwords, otp codes etc very difficult as I need to do it within 10 seconds of opening 1password.This has been happening for quite some time (6+ months at least) when I run screen shares with a remote macOS host via the screen share app using High Performance or Dynamic Resolution. The issue does not occur if I change from High Performance to standard in the macOS screen share app. High Performance is useful as it adjusts the remote display to match the display I'm using on my local machine. Which makes needing to switch back to standard -  not ideal.The remote machine display does not scale nicely if in standard screen share type mode.I was wondering if anyone else has seen this issue?Remote Mac is running MacOS 15.6.11password ver. 8.11.6

I tried to import a CSV file, containing colums for title,username,password.  There is no website column because it's not relevant for this set of passwords.  I get this error and it won't let me proceed with the import.  Website should not be required here!   

One example: On whatever web page I’m on, I call up 1 Password to get the password for my VPN software. After I do that, the window is still there, so I then click on “Open & Fill” Very convenient. 

When the browser extension locks after 1password upgrade and also the browser waits for restart to apply its own upgrade, it is impossible to unlock any subsequent account in the browser no matter what I try. Locking both app and the extension, the app unlock doesnt unlock the extension. I have a capital one shopping extension on Chrome, which is the browser I use most often.  1Password automatically fills in the password for it when I reach a capital one site.  I also have a Discover credit card account that was just bought by Capital one - and I am now led to log onto a Capital One site when I am trying to access my Discover account.  But the previous entry for the capitaloneshopping is blocking my ability to log into my Discover account now.  I tried creating a new log in but it is confusing them and I am getting locked out of both.   Any workarounds or fixes?
