1Password is intolerably slow
Our 1Password has become so slow it's barely tolerable. And, yes, it is updated to the latest version. I can't find a live support person or phone number anywhere on their website. Can anyone help me? We've used 1Password for years and I'm about ready to junk it. We are on a MAC
Thanks for the reply. I suspect that you're affected by a known issue that our development team recently identified where running the Intel version of 1Password for Mac on an Apple Silicon Mac can result in slow performance.
I recommend that you reinstall 1Password from our website (on both your desktop and laptop): Install 1Password
If that doesn't work then let me know.

I don't see an email from the email address that you're using in the community, did you use a different email address? If you did then did you send the email to support@1Password.com ? You should have received an auto-reply with a Support ID. If you post that here I can make sure that the email gets to the right team.

No, it's specifically on my computer. I don't really use it on my browsers. I have a Mac mini using macOS 15.5. It's soooo irritatingly slow. It barely picks up typed words. It's only slightly faster on my new MacBook Pro. But it works very well on my new iPhone.
Thanks for getting back to me so fast. Do you have a live help number?

Hello LJM! 👋
I'm sorry that you're seeing performance issues when using 1Password. Are you seeing these issues when filling logins in a browser? Or when using the 1Password desktop app?
If you have the desktop app installed then can you click on the 1Password app icon in your /Applications folder and then click Get Info. Can you tell me what it says next to "Kind" in the window that appears? And can you tell me if you're using an Intel-Mac or an Apple Silicon Mac? You can find out by click on the Apple in the top left corner of your screen and then clicking About This Mac.
I look forward to hearing from you.
