Disable Private or default to a Shared
We're a family and are long time users of 1Password. Ever since 1Password introduced the "Private vault", its caused more trouble, as every time a new Chrome profile gets created, or a new browse...
That doesn't help keep the setting "Default Vault" synced or at least defaulted to what we choose.
Seems there's an 1Password App setting for "Default Vault".
And then another "Default Vault" setting on each extension you install on each browser. When you install the extension, it doesn't default to your app Setting. It just lets you choose another one, and seems to land on Private..
Thats what causes the confusion.

ModeratorThat's correct, you'll need to choose the default vault separately on each device and browser. I can see how being able to set it once for all of your devices would be useful and, while I can't make any promises, I've filed a feature request with the team on your behalf.
