iPhone Cannot Login After Upgrading 1Password app from v7 to v8

I have 1Password app installed on my iPhone (iOS 18.4.1) and on my desktop (Linux 8.11.0).  I share the Family account with my husband.  I noticed that passwords I saved on my desktop vault weren't getting saved in my iPhone vault, which was very strange.  My iPhone 1Password app was v7, so I thought I should upgrade to v8.  I followed the instructions and removed the iPassword app v7 from my iPhone and then downloaded/installed 1Password app v8 successfully.  After opening 1Password on my iphone, it requested for me to sign in.  I triple verified the secret key listed in the text box and typed in my master password and the app keeps telling me "Unable to sign in"!  I know beyond the shadow of doubt that both the secret key and master password are correct.  I used the master password to open the 1Password app on my desktop.

What is going on?

    I'm sorry that you're running into issues when signing into 1Password after upgrading. I see that you both have a ticket open with our support team and they'll be able to help further, please continue the conversation there.

    Same with me. Upgraded to v8 on my iPhone. I just opened a ticket after spending the past couple of hours reading and going in loops. I just upgraded to a membership subscription as well and don’t even have a secret key or emergency kit. I still have v7 on my iPad which allows me to sign into 1Password, thank goodness. Wish I could reply with a solution, but I’m in the same boat.
