Passkey won't popup in Safari for google authentication
I use to login in a site using google. This time google wanted more credentials and ask me to sign with my access key. 1password wouldn't pop up the passkey. I had to close Safari and try again in order for the passkey popup to appear. It used to work. Is there anything I can do before closing the app if I encounter the same problem later?

Safari 18.5
1password extension 8.10.82.29

Hello Dave,
I don't think I can reproduce the issue. Something stored in that Safari/1Password session prevented the passkey to pop up until I closed Safari. After opening Safari again, I logged out of the site that produced the issue but 1Password offered me the passkey each time I logged in.
When the issue occurred other sites worked well, at least a couple I tried.Without reproducing the fault it will be difficult to find the problem and a solution. If there is anything I can look in 1Password let me know.

It sounds like you might have run into an issue that we're currently tracking where the workaround is to open the website in a new tab. A fix is being tested by Apple in Safari Technology Preview and we're hopeful that it will be released for the stable version of Safari soon as well.
If you run into the issue again and opening the website in a new tab doesn't work then let me know.

Hello victorkr! 👋
I'm sorry that you ran into an issue when signing in to your Google account with a passkey. Are you able to reproduce the issue again if you try to sign in now?
When the issue occurred, did 1Password still suggest and fill logins into other websites in Safari before you restarted the browser?
