Hey guys, I got a huge problem here. I created a new business account for another organization and at the moment my user is the only owner/administrator in this account. Today I noticed a problem with my MFA configuration because I had different codes created on my smartphone and notebook based on a system time difference by about 1 min. So I decided to correct the time on my notebook, that woth, smartphone and notebook have the exact same time. At this moment I was already logged in via browser on my 1password account and was able to renew my MFA authentication. From now on the MFA code was the same at smartphone and notebook. Looked great. But... The 6-digit codes dont work anymore although I confirmed the generated code while renewing the MFA configuration. Now I cant login to the business accout anymore while there is no other owner/administrator that can start the recovery for my user. What can I do to remove my MFA configuration or force the system to let me configure a new one while login? I made the MFA configuration with my main 1password account so there is no device that is fully configured for the affected account. I need immediate help with recovering my MSP account. I've lost access to it. I am growing a solo MSP and just signed up to be a reseller for 1Password MSP (Business). My password doesn't work anymore, and I can't recover my account. I tried using my recovery code and emergency kit, but nothing works. Looks like someone has taken over my account. I work with an MSP and there are a few of us who are administering services for our clients. We're trying to figure out how to share 1Password. When you initially sign in you have to register your device. One of my colleagues says he last accessed this last year and now doesn't remember which computer it was from. When we try to sign in now we get: Sign into 1Password on the Firefox session that you have used before. Go to My Profile. Under Pending Sign-ins, look for Microsoft Edge. Select View. Allow the transfer request. Enter the verification code in the next step. I'm waiting on the owner of the account to reset our account and get us back in. In the meantime, what's the best way to manage this? Our client has the Enterprise Edition enabling SSO support. For us as an MSP, how can a few of us administer this a few times a year, to on-board people or reset access for others? This has been annoying me so much lately I had to post something about it. When working in an azure virtual machine with a browser that has the 1Password extension enabled the extension is detecting a password event for some actions I do within the virtual machine which aren't password related. I'm working off Linux but I'm sure it would happen on a wintel box as well. Triggers for this behaviour I've encountered so far: Entering a UNC value into the file explorer address bar Entering a search term or URL into a browser address bar Entering text into a search provider like Bing As you can imagine this is pretty annoying when you're trying to get work done. If I could also suggest that if you are targetting MSPs you want to detect which username the user has picked when doing an auth with O365/Azure and give them the appropriate password, as they will have a LOT of O365 accounts.22Views0likes1Comment
