Passkey using Windows Laptop as "different device"

Hi

I was trying to login to Binance on andoid using my android phone.  For some reason Binance does not pickup passkeys on android although it does on Windows 11.

I decided to try using the function to use a QR code passkey function to scan the QR code from my android phone onto my Windows 11 laptop as a workaround.  I have now discovered that I cant use my Windows 11 laptop to scan passkeys QR codes from other devices to use passkeys stored in 1password on my laptop. 

  1. Is there a way to use passkeys this way around on Windows?
  2. If not, are there any plans to? (FEATURE REQUEST PLEASE)
  3. Why does Binance not play nice with 1Password? (I assume 1P already knows but if not then Bug report please)

    I'm sorry that you're running into issues when using passkeys on your Android device. I suggest that we start the troubleshooting process by investigating why the passkey isn't working to sign into Binance, can you reproduce the issue one more time and then I'd like to ask you to create and share a 1Password diagnostics report from your Android device:

    Send a diagnostics report (Android)

    Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support@1password.com
